Perfect menu. The place in town. Delicious food. Seems a family is running the business: grandma and aunt cooking in the kitchen, mom and kids serving. Menu has enough good variety of salads, fish and fries, burgers, sandwiches, good variety of Appetizers for all preferences, a good variety of sides. Also assorted flavors of ice cream served in scones. Seems to be an old traditional place for the locals and anyone in the surrounding area. Service was very good, fast enough and friendly. Dirty, and fly infested. Had to get our own menus, then it took 56 minutes to get our food after ordering, and it wasn't busy. We never did get water or cutlery. The kitchen staff seemed to be half-witted and just argued with each other and wait staff, the waitress had to stand over them until they got our orders together. We've rarely been made to feel so unwelcome in any other restaurant, and we are all conservative old men, I can only imagine how they'd treat youngsters or people of color. The food was mediocre. We stopped here on our way back home to California. This place was SO GOOD! Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Everyone ordered something different and there were no complaints. Those burgers were the best I have ever had that were not from In-N-Out. Lot of meat, delicious flavor and their fried cauliflower, mushroom appetizers were YUMMY!!! Came to town for parts, it was a Saturday and most businesses looked closed but we went in to this café and what a pleasant surprise! First I got a tiny whiff of bleach water from cleaning tables professionally, which was a great first impression as cleanliness is so important in a restaurant business, I cannot stand a dirty restaurant! Then the menus were awesome, lots to choose from! But when lunch came I was soooo happy with what I refer to as the best bacon cheeseburger deluxe I have ever had! It was the best ever! Seriously really was the best darned burger I have ever had! Next time my hubby is going there for parts you can bet I will be tagging along in hopes of eating here again! Friendly service, nice little café, very excellent food! It was a very happening place on a rainy, cold Thursday night. The mozzarella sticks were amazing! The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. The fries were too crispy sadly. The waitress was nice but not very attentive. We will for sure eat there again. Next time we will get the steaks, which I have heard great things about. read more

This bar/Cafe is not only a provider of excellent food, it is the social hub of the area! Owner/Operator Ryan Maher and Christi, his outstanding manager provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where folks are welcome and often tables get pushed together if newcomers to the are wander in to join in conversation with locals. This is the kind of place the hospitality industry would love to emulate, but it is because of the people that make it special, and they aren't just everywhere. The food is very good. People come from an hour away to eat here. Saturday nights offer prime rib, and if you want some, come early because when it's gone, it's gone. Even if you come late and the prime rib is sold out, the steaks, burgers, and drinks are great. Although it is a bar and cafe, it really runs as a restaurant until 9 p.m. and families with children are commonly in attendance. Shoot a little pool, have great conversation with good people. It just doesn't get any better than this in these parts. The only thing I wish they had is to put mashed potatoes on the regular menu, but I guess I can live with the half dozen other kinds of potatoes they offer!
