This is an honest review for a paid customer. Michael truly went above and beyond for our wedding. We booked a Photo Booth with Michael. From the beginning he was responsive, professional and extremely courteous. He also was the best price when I was shopping around. He made things easy for us as he coordinated with our wedding planner. His associate showed up on time on the day of the event and was exactly as described. The printer went down during the wedding, so after the event was over Michael printed a copy for each guest that was in each photo (~600+ photos) and overnighted them to us. We included them in our thank you letters and it ended up being perfect. Michael is truly a professional and really cares about the reputation of his business. DJelev8 & DJ Daler made my husbands 80's themed 50th Bday super fun!!! I got the package that included DJ's, a karaoke option, dance floor lighting, up lighting (which was a nice touch), and a photo booth. The customer Service was great too. All my questions were answered and they made special accommodations to set up speakers outside which took a bit of effort due to the layout of my house. I have hired Special Event DJZ for several big life events. DJ Turnsignal aka Mike, DJ'd our wedding, our first born son's 1st Birthday, and will be doing our baby's 1st Birthday when very soon. I have always been very happy with their service and with the mix of music that DJ Turnsignal plays. The best think is that these guys take the time to sit down with you and really hear you. They want to know the vibe you are going for, any special music, etc. My husband and I are a mixed couple. My background alone has two very different ethnicities and DJ Turnsignal was able to capture the feel, vibe and culture of both. He played music that both of my parents enjoyed, from both of their cultures, but mixed in so expertly that the entire party didnt miss a beat. For our little guy's first birthday, Special Event DJZ got it down just right. I worked with Michael for my 7/20 wedding, and my fiance and I had the best time working with him. He really communicated with us to make sure he understood our playlist and music choices, and our own wedding planned couldn't stop raving about how excited she is to work with him again. Both Michael and Max worked our wedding the day-of, and despite never having been to our venue, made the day flawless. They played energetic music that kept the crowd pumped! To top it off, we had an after party as well, and even though the venue told us we couldn't turn the lights out in the room, Michael got up on the chairs and manually switched each of them off so we could have the ambiance we wanted. Sent several enquiries, in and out of Yelp, and Michael reached out with by far the best value --note value, not the cheapest, but they tailor the offer to suit the needs. What I appreciated the most was them being a one-stop shop for beyond DJ/MC services: karaoke, lights, photo booth, even went out of their way and hooked me up with awesome dancers that stole the show. Michael kept in touch weeks and days leading to my event. The night of my partner's 30th bday celebration, DJ Cali and assistants showed up, all smiles and great energy. We hosted a prom for the students at my school this past weekend. We were celebrating the students and their families. I thought that at the last minute we really needed some lighting to really set the tone of the dance and Michael was really helpful and accommodating to what we needed (in a very short time, 2 weeks notice). Not only was he super professional and very quick with the setup but he was also willing to help us cover our tables with some paper. Which, by the way, actually helped the prom start on time. He was really helpful walking me through the use of the remote for the lights. The lights were perfect and set the mood for this awesome event.
