Jessa was amazing and we lucked out and had the whole place to ourselves. I loved the panel lights, those were not available at the other location. I have no idea if I was using them correctly, but I sure had fun pretending! They also had some really fun props and a fitting room, if you bring extra outfits for your photos which is a fantastic idea. End result, I have a new headshot for my LinkedIn, my friend has photos for her profile and we have a great memory of goofing around for an evening.

Brea offered to do our engagement photos for free so they could get to know us. Even though we did not want engagement photos we could not pass up the fact that they were free. It was a very pleasant experience with Jessica and the photos turned out really well. Fast forward to our wedding in June of 2014: Jessica was an absolute delight to have as my photographer. I made it very clear to her that I did not want staged photos where everyone is standing perfectly all the time, and I did not want to be bombarded with photos. She listened to what I wanted and the photos were very painless. She was snapping pictures when I didn't even know she was taking pictures, so she was very unobtrusive. Jessica is a very sweet person and I just can't say enough about her. She also listened to the wedding party when they had an idea for a photo. As someone who plans a lot of events, not having to give photography a second thought is completely priceless. Typically getting a hold of her 2-3 weeks before your event is enough time, but book ahead if you want to use her pop-up photo booth services, which I believe are new. The date was a holiday weekend which also narrowed our options. I found Phil on another social media platform. We connected and I found him to be very personable and considerate of our needs. Fortunately, Phil had past experience photographing anniversary parties and promptly suggested I review his website to review work examples. His website photos are vibrant, clear, and perfectly captures the joy of the events. We spoke with a couple of photographers and their work examples didn't compare to Phil's. We spoke a couple times prior to the event and he asked me for specific photos I wanted taken. I didn't prepare a list, and that is all on me. Not Phil at all. I strongly recommend preparing a list to better direct Phil. It's not his job to be an event planner!! On the day of our event, Phil actually was there even before WE arrived. He'd already began photographing guests without my prompting. Phil's presence was unobtrusive and his demeanor professional. At my request, he stayed a little longer than we had originally planned and agreed. He gave me a timeline of when to expect my photos. Surprisingly, he emailed the link to our photos A WEEK LATER! You can't go wrong by selecting Phil to capture your most important memories.

i think the fact that it has taken the photographer over 2 years to respond to a comment made about…read moreher services says it all!!! She contradicts herself in saying that my album was promised before Christmas, then by saying it was not promised by Christmas. Maybe there was some confusion on my part, but when i was told before Christmas, i did not expect it to literally mean Dec 24th. While I do admit i was quite relentless in the last weeks before receiving my album, who can blame me? It had taken over 7 months of patience and lots of back-n-forth with the photographer and I still had yet to see an album that I had paid for in full well in advanced. That's probably where i went wrong. Maybe if she had more $ waiting for her at the end of this transaction, she would have put a little more effort into delivering her products in a timely, more professional manner. Next time I know better. I am not quite sure where she gets off claiming that i was given a discount. I paid the regular priced agreed upon at the beginning of the session....and that was it. Do not be fooled by the fact that she hand delivered my album either. She had no choice! How else was she going to get it to me on time. See the thing is, when you don't plan ahead, then you are left with very few options. Had she followed up w/ her album company a little more diligently, then this could have been avoided.
