Phil Stevens has no integrity. He told me when I dropped my car off to have it shipped back to CA to take a look around it to see how it looked. Now, I've had my car shipped across country 4x in the 32 years I've lived in Los Angeles. It's never cost me $2200, AND Phil quoted me $2000 but then charged my credit card $2269 and then repeatedly lied to me about what the extra charges were for. It costs no more than $1700 to ship a car AND they couldn't manage to do that. They failed so they had someone incompetent drive it, putting 3000 miles on it because they couldn't get it shipped to LA. In retrospect, I'd had my Dad's former dealership in PA take over but my father is dealing with dementia, why I was there for 6 weeks to begin with, to help get him assisted living. Also if I had it to do over again, I would have video taped the condition of my car, which was pristine, because he is the definition of how used car dealers got a bad name. He took advantage of me and my Mom, WAY over charged me, and is just not a nice guy. My car arrived with a damaged tire, BEYOND out of gas and the incompetent driver flew back to NC with MY key in his pocket, which I did not get back for 8 DAYS. ALL COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Then he had the nerve to say I was over reacting. What? The driver damaged my car and took off with my key? He took ZERO responsibility. I am STILL dealing with getting it repaired and Phil flat out did not care. At ALL. I gave him 4 opportunities to make things right and he refused. Flat out refused to make it right. read more
