I had an appointment at Crawley specsavers at 11.20 today (10/03/2023). I was late by twelve minutes. I also had to wait at the front desk since there were others queueing. When I talked to an employee there , I was told (after they were advised by somebody else who never showed up) that I could not attend the appointment and I would have to reschedule. I was never provided with the option for an other appointment later the same day despite the fact there was a nice big sign saying: "Appointments available today" (which is misleading to say the least). I am very disappointed with their lack of : 1.people's skills (anything can happen and people may be late for 10 or 12 minutes thus, no empathy whatsoever), 2. problem solving (I was never offered another option) 3. luck of understanding that the world does not revolve around specsavers and that our time is valuable as well. I wasted precious time from my work and studies just because specsavers could not manage a delayed appointment by twelve minutes.....Moreover, every time I have an appointment I have to wait for at least fifteen minutes because of whatever reason and never have made any complaints because I understand that it can happen. Specsavers, you just lost a loyal customer (not that you care judging from Crawley's staff attitude today). read more
