I was very nervous before my first surgery, worried about being able to see and feel what was going on but he calmed and assured me it would be pain free and it was. I don't remember much about the start of the surgery as I was slightly sedated for the first few minutes, and then when I was aware of what was going on he talked calmly and explained what I would be feeling. He made me co relax and feel safe. Within a day or two I could already see the difference. colours were much brighter. I had the second operation two weeks later. I had checkups one month on from each eye surgery and the difference to my vision was amazing. And. review in for one year from first surgery. No more prescription glasses for me and my first pair of 'off the shelf' sunglasses that didn't cost a small mortgage !!

It is well located in the heart of Benalmadena and clearly caters to locals, expats, and tourists. I have never had such an efficient ER experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They took my information and assigned me a number DMV style. I was seen first by a nurse who asked me my symptoms and took my vitals. I returned to the waiting room and waited less than 2 minutes where I saw the doctor. He asked me questions (in English) about allergies and symptoms. He then asked if I preferred a shot or IV (shot for me). I returned to the waiting room and in two minutes the nurse gave me my shot. I then paid. Cost? €140. My ER experience in San Diego to get something out of my eye was about 11x that last summer. This experience makes it easier to move to the EU.
