They all told me (not this provider, as they never contracted me back) that they NEVER submitted the pre-authorized it so it wasn't covered. Somehow, it's never their job. The fact is, they prescribed the med and couldn't get it processed for me for 10 days without any communication. Apparently the doctor didn't feel like doing it. She's now having a bit of a meltdown over how impossible this entire process is, throwing her even deeper into depression and anxiety. So. If that's the experience you're looking for from a therapist, then these guys are right up your alley. If it's not, avoid these "doctors" like the plague. Oh, by the way, their policy is that if you don't give two business days notice before cancelling an appointment, they're gonna charge you $100. Apparently, she thinks it's best to teach 7yos with multiple disabilities that they need to understand that their teachers mean well, rather than that they should tell their teachers when they feel sad.

However, the final straw came when my son tested positive for COVID the day before we had a scheduled appointment. I called him that night after we received the test results, and left a voicemail since it was after hours. The next day when we missed our appointment, I expected him to call us back to reschedule. He did not call back until two days later, and didn't even express any concern that our son was sick (a standard response would be "sorry to hear about your son," "hope he gets better soon," etc.) It was clear to me then that he did not care one bit about helping us, and we will not be going back. Stephen is without a doubt the worst counselor I have seen.
