Also, I left my debit card after swiping, and when I went out to my car leaving that card in the store, she ran outside and called me to take the card. It was just awesome. I like this location! It's near my favorite hotel in the area - easy to access with traffic! - and the prices are very competitive. Look, I love Speedway. I prefer them over other places for a variety of reasons, but this one always leaves me disappointed for a few reasons. For starters, gas is always WAY more expensive here. That's the one reason why I refuse to ever fill up at this one because their gas prices are always ridiculous. Secondly, it's a smaller Speedway on the inside, and the lines can get backed up from time to time. This happens anyways at gas stations regardless of where you go anyway.(especially during the morning and evening rush.) But, if you need something else like a beverage, lottery or whatever, you can always step inside. This is probably my least favorite Speedway to date. Staff is friendly and attentive, but your better off going down the road and saving a ton of money at a cheaper, cleaner, easier to access gas station. Go to the Speedway off Crooks and M-59 instead, or cross over University to Walton and hit up one of the other gas stations near Oakland University. read more

Speedway is always the best. Always fresh coffee, decent hot food, GREAT hot food if you consider the fact it's a gas station lol. Staff is always crazy friendly and happy at this location. (Most locations I've been frankly). And for being right off the highway they are priced great here. I suggest trying the new espresso blend coffee they are carrying now. Packs a nice punch. I mix it with one of the "machine coffees" (like French vanilla or English toffee) only needs like one creamer then and it's perfect. It's no starbucks, but if you ask me, that's a good thing. I like sbux too but Speedway Cafe gives them a run for their money with the nice coffee and creamer selection and the prices. The place is always clean and/or being cleaned too. They also have staff that is strictly for cleaning, cooking, and restocking so the counter/cashier line never suffers. A++ read more
