Then at some point when my lovely wife was busy in the kitchen, the doorbell rang, and as per normal, our dog went nuts. I then said to my wife "Who could that be?? She said she had no idea, but I needed to answer it as she was busy. &&&@&)$)!! Turns out it was the delivery person with our order. Within an hour, I'd forgotten about the order! Pretty sad don't ya think? Getting old is NOT fun. Anyway, we usually order pizza from Casey's, but tonight I ordered a 1/4 Lb cheeseburger and fries, and my wife ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. Both were very good, and the French fries traveled well, and were also very good. I've never had a bad meal from Casey's. Gas station food at its finest. Now, if I can just remember I ordered food.. In my experience, it's never been overly crowded, and I always manage to find something to snack on when that's what I come for. The staff that check out my items are always friendly and helpful. I stopped by for breakfast this morning with my sister and the donuts did not taste as soft and fresh as expected (we were just here the night before, and the donuts weren't there last night so they were definitely recently provided). The coffee was okay. Besides that, my only major complaint is that they don't have any bagels that you can get with your coffee or for your breakfast. Otherwise, they're a great store when you want to run in for a quick snack while you're on your way to somewhere. I'm sure I'll be back again when I need a quick snack while on the go.
