Inside is kinda dingy and I saw no bathroom for customers. There's no impressive coffee station, unlike Cumberland Farms. Normally, I would rate this type of gas station/convenience store around two stars (or even one, if there are more serious issues), but I have no problem rating this place a solid three stars, and would even give it 3.5 stars, if Yelp allowed half stars in individual ratings. That's because their prices are super low. As of Oct. 20, 2017, their price for regular unleaded gas was $2.43 - that's a full 20 cents per gallon less expensive than the Shell station nearby! Also, they charge less than $2.80 for a gallon of 1 percent milk, which is the cheapest current price I've seen. And, a 16-ounce Red Bull was $3.79, versus an average of $4.19 elsewhere. Their location - adjacent to the traffic rotary across from Royal Mills - is actually quite convenient and easy to pull in and out of, with several curb cuts in their parking lot. Yet another reason I like them is that I ran out of gas nearby, about a year ago, and they helped me out a lot when I was in a jam, so I appreciate that. I really need to go here more often, and you should too, if you like to save money!

Its funny how that works out... frequenting the businesses that are in closest proximity to your home base. Lucky for me, this place is better than most Cumberland Farms. The price of gas is always competitive, if not the lowest in the area. I signed up for the Smart Pay program and save 10 cents a gallon on gas every time. Additionally, I gain rewards from time to time and am able to pick up free items like drinks and snacks. Craving a late night snack? Need milk for breakfast? Ready-made food for lunch? ATM? This is your place. I come here for the newspaper on weekends, the occasional splurge for sweets, and to gas up my vehicle. The staff are pleasant and helpful. If I have to wait at the register it's simply because the employees are busy bees tending to the hot foods, cleaning shelves, or the like. My only gripe with this location is the parking situation. There's a number of spots but they're closely spaced and in the direct path of people swinging in and out of the gas pumps. I always have to pull out of my space with extra caution because I've had a number of narrow misses trying to exit. All in all, a great option for this area.

This is your basic, neighborhood convenience store that sells drinks, snacks, smokes, lottery, and…read morecommon grocery and convenience store items. According to a sign, they also slice deli meats to order, although this would probably not be my first choice when I think of deli meats. Inside is reasonably well organized, stocked and clean, although there is nothing glamorous about this place. According to my teenage stepson, it's a good place to buy cans or bottles of soda, as prices there are generally less expensive than a chain convenience store or drugstore. They also have coolers for frozen foods and ice cream snacks. They don't sell my favorite brand of milk, so I don't buy milk here. The parking lot is small, but adequate to support the volume of business; I usually only see one or two vehicles stopped here at any given time (not counting the owner's or employee's car). It's actually a convenient store for this area, since there aren't any other convenience stores in the immediate neighborhood (in other words, within short walking distance). And, I don't mind driving here, because it's easy to pull in and out since traffic on this end of West Warwick Avenue is not that heavy. I'd probably give them 2.5 stars if I could, but I'm going to round my rating down to 2 stars because of one particular annoyance. Their parking lot is at the corner of West Warwick Avenue and a side street. While there is a curb cut at the side street, it is very small and hard to see. Because I don't stop here often, I forget about this quirk, and usually end up driving over the curb when I go to leave via the side street.

Sunoco - I purchased $35.09 of gas at Sunoco. 629 Bald Hill Rd in Warwick

There was no sign or notice stating that they hold 100% of your gas money for buying gas. This is horrible and against the law. They wouldn't give me my money back because they said it would automatically refund at 9pm the next night. Although it's a small amount I'm taking them to court. Don't go to Sunoco gas

Yet another weird experience in this Twilight Zone of a gas station/convenience store …read more... I stopped here Friday afternoon to get a Red Bull, only because I was driving right by there. The SECOND that I entered the door, the over-enthusiastic girl behind the Subway counter to the left greeted me ... even though I was walking in the opposite direction toward the convenience store counter. Ok, whatever. She's probably bored. I can't imagine that this Subway-in-a-gas-station sees much biz. After I got my Red Bull from the cooler, I approached the checkout counter, where it got even weirder. A very elderly woman, who had to be pushing, if not over, 90 years old, was sitting on a chair in front of the checkout counter, holding a piece of paper to her forehead, scunching her eyes. I wasn't sure if she: a) Was about to tell someone's fortune; b) Had a migraine headache; or c) Was doing her best Karnac the Magnificent impression (a recurring skit on the late Johnny Carson show, may you rest in peace, Johnny). Then, I turned around to look at a high-mounted Keno flat-screen display and realized she was probably trying to ascertain her lottery numbers. There were two people at the register. I wasn't sure if they were: a) husband and wife; b) mother and son; c) brother and sister; or d) none of the above. After I handed them money for my purchase, both of them participated in getting my change. Perhaps she was training him on how to use the register or something. The dude, who appeared to be of Middle Eastern or perhaps Indian descent, awkwardly handed me my change. He could barely speak English, and what little he did speak was largely unintelligible, almost like grunting. And his halitosis nearly knocked me over. Folks, if you work with the public, kindly practice proper hygiene, please. As I went to leave (not soon enough), I pushed on the right door, which didn't budge, and the Subway girl flashed a pseudo-helpful smile and said, "Other door!" (No shit, I thought to myself.) She clearly doesn't get much human interaction ... she reminded me of a spider, waiting in a web, for any form of life to fly or walk into her little corner of the world.
