The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. Go there even if your not an artist and have no hope of any talent this place will inspire you to get crayons. I am an Artist from the USA preparing for an upcoming expositie in Amsterdam. I visited this store…read morerecently to purchase some supplies for my painting. Having experience a difficult time at another art supply store in the city center. I found Peter Van Ginkel store a breath of fresh air from the hassle i got at another place. The shop sales person was very friendly and cute. She helped me find what I needed and genuinely seemed invested in being supportive and kind. This made for a memoriable and pleasant experience. If I am in the area I will seek out this store again for their broad inventory and helpful customer service.
