Lots of moaning on the phone when we contacted the hotel because we were arriving late by National Express coaches after I had finished work in London. Manager greeted us in quite a friendly manner upon arrival, money taken from us instantly for the room. Toilets stopped working so we ended up using the communal ones as did both the hot and cold water taps in the end. The good points were that the staff were quite friendly and the square this hotel is in is quite atmospheric with a connection to Van Gogh. read more
