There is sooo much to see here and find. The selection is wide range with all of the different vendors inside. Some of the pricing seemed a little high but there were quite a few sales going on. This was my second year attending the Farm Chicks show and let me say, this year was better than…read morelast year! If you love to see creativity at it's best, please come to the Farm Chicks show. It just makes for a fun girls weekend. Last year was my first trip to Spokane and it's a much more charming town that I thought. Lots of funky thrift shops here and in Coeur d'Alene (which is barely 30 minutes away). You can take one day for junkin' and one day for the Farm Chicks. It's $6 for both days and bring your camera and a notebook because you'll want to write down all the cute ideas you find. My find of the day at the show was a $10 vintage watch from http://www.athingforroses.blogspot.com/. Be prepared to wait outside for a few to get in - my friend took a picture of the line to get in, which I will try and snag and post. But it's one of those lines where you talk to everyone in it - which makes it fun. Also, I would recommend bringing cash if you are going to buy - not too many places took cards. If you love vintage finds, make the pilgrimage - and don't forget to wear your apron!

During my most recent visit, I found an old Girl Scout book with recipes for Girl Scout cookies. I also purchased a whole bunch of skeleton keys. I have an old house with the original doors throughout that require a skeleton key to lock the door. Unfortunately, the keys must have gotten lost over time, thus why I bought a bunch of different ones to try to figure out which ones could actually work to lock the doors in my house. Surprisingly, two of the keys did work! So, now I know which ones to buy more of in the future. I also got a plant that has been thriving in my office. While located on a busy street, parking is easily available as there is plenty of parking behind the building.

Supporting over 200 local businesses in a vendor mall is something I have never even heard of. When you walk inside this place, you get lost in treasures immediately. I cannot even believe how much time I have spent here literally. It was probably 5 hours in the last two weeks. Mom's take your toddlers because they are lost in this magical world of glory and I loved every minute of my 6 year olds wonder. They have antiques and vintage things, and local snacks and jewelry and some of the best prices around.
