The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. We were out of town the week the construction took place and came back to a completely new backyard! It has transformed the way we spend time in the back yard - hanging out with friends, grilling and just reading and relaxing. I now have a backyard I am proud to show off. He gave us a VERY competitive bid for our project, we wrote him a check for $2550 (1/2 of the total cost) and he ordered the materials the next day (7/2) . I was excited even though the pavers for the patio were back ordered and we'd have to wait for two weeks. But the other supplies arrived and work on the tree ring could be done relatively soon. After the holiday, He came and dug a trench for a rain PopUp gutter drain that was 15 ft long and roughly 2 or 2 1/2 feet deep. I was thinking this is going to be great. But then, poof... it was very difficult to reach him. Text messages went unanswered and phone calls were not picked up. He had given me his word that the patio would be done by July 19. He never arrived at my house until 10 (at the earliest). After I spoke to him about possibly coming earlier in the morning to avoid the heat he said he'd try. He didn't. Then, when I asked him why he admitted that he was hung over. Then proceeded to tell me he needed another $1,000 as he got an over draft notice from his bank. I asked here the money was we had paid him for the supplies and he said "life happened." It almost sounded as though he wanted more money to cover the expense of the pavers that I had already paid him for. I fired him after he told me he'd be at my house by 10, arrived at 11 said he'd work until 2 or 3! I asked him for longer. He agreed we needed to get this done, but he left my house around 1:15 AND my backyard neighbor said he spent most of that time sitting on my deck or the grass. Hired and material ordered on July 2 and all he has accomplished is the trench. Every promise he gave me he broke.

This started back in in Oct 2018 so bear with me.... I dropped off my cub lawn tractor for…read morewarranty work and at the same time purchased another cub snow blower. I was told 2 weeks to fix my tractor as it was getting a warranty transmission. Two months go by I hear nothing, three I called talked to Bob yep we are waiting on parts. Ok give it a couple of weeks Bob where is my tractor still waiting on parts. forward to march 2019 Bob I need my tractor still waiting, ok I will call cub cadet corporate office. Cub Cadet tells me they are available so I call two other shops and they are available with them as well. Bob where is my tractor still waiting on parts, I need it could have used it all winter where is it? Since I was looking at upgrading I talked to Dave in sales who gave me a high sales price on a new one $300 more than Home Depot on the same machine and a low trade on mine. Dave told me they are still waiting who knows how long it could be to get it done but could deliver a new on in a week. May 1 2019 Bob calls says its done come and get it. I told him both him and Dave said they would deliver it, nope we never said that. We have worked very hard to get this done for you in such a short time frame, 7 months are you kidding me. Not one straight answer ever. Called back to speak with the owner Jerry Danner was told he does not take calls, I said cool then I will see him in court. 15 minutes later Jerry calls me and tries to duck and cover for his poor employees who are mostly related. I told him how we were treated and he was very informed about our dealings so he had spoken to his staff prior to the call. I asked him why this had taken so long and he continued to cover then a little more pressing and the true popped out. A mechanic was sick and they were busy pushing snow and they had snow mobile services to work on. Jerry also told me that they had to wait to get paid for the work they did and it cost them more because the transmission came from a different supplier, but I could come get my tractor no charge. I told Jerry not my problem and he could deliver at no charge as Bob and Dave both told me they would do after 7 months of lies I think that's the least he could do. Jerry delivered my machine 5 hours later and shoved a piece of paper in my face with writing on it that showed a back order date of may 31 2019 on it, but computers always leave a trace it was ordered today.... Nothing but lies out of this place, not sure of the work yet.......

The estimate was fair, but then I saw the work they were doing. They were cutting off the trees and weeds to the ground, leaving the roots in the soil. The contract said "remove trees and weeds". When I complained, he told me to poison it with RoundUp even though he claimed to be a "holistic" landscaper, and doesn't use RoundUp himself! I even offered him my tree puller, but he dismissed me and said, "This is the way we do it." My husband told me I shouldn't have paid them, but I was having a panic attack. It was about $3,000. I was going to take him to conciliation court, but I didn't want to relive the nightmare.
