Only difference from Performance is that the new owner did a slight remodel, and created a group fitness room. I gave this gym 4 stars because it's very friendly, everyone greets you with a hello when you walk in. Most of the members work out one-on-one with a trainer, so it's never that crowded. But, it's small and pretty pricey. I'm not sure exactly what the monthly membership rate is, but based on what Performance used to charge, I believe it's close to $80+/month depending on the level of membership you purchase. My favorite trainer there is Tovah (I would give her 5 stars if I could do just that), she teaches Power Yoga, Spin and Bootcamp. She is a very versatile trainer who makes you work hard. I really enjoy her Yoga classes because she usually has a Pilates fusion, to strengthen and stretch. Her classes are always different, so you never know what you'll be doing that day. I highly recommend trying out one of her Power Yoga classes!

It's never crowded, it's very friendly (it's like Cheers, you walk in and people will actually say hi - and not in a fake way). I have never missed a ONE workout because I honestly look forward to going and having a good time while working my butt off. They have high-quality equipment and fantastic group classes. There are a lot of independent trainers. Mine is Mark and he is seriously my training soul-mate. My husband sees Bob, and Bob is easily the nicest and most entertaining person you'll ever meet. Bob also teaches the 9:15 bootcamp class (melt) and my husband says he's the best (and he's VERY hard to please, I was surprised). I've taken a lot of spin classes all over town and this by far the place to go. I burn the most calories (I wear a heart rate monitor) and it's more personal, I've never had more than 3 or 4 people in my class. It feels like you have your own personal spin instructor, which *could* be awkward, but Tovah is just amazing and super nice. She's challenging but also lets you do the best you can without giving you a hard time. I sometimes still spin at LA Fitness, but LA totally sucks compared to Ignite (LA is just cheaper, but they have to be cheap to get any business there. Also, LA's spin room is clear so the whole gym can see in and gawk at you, which totally bugs me out). This place IS pricey...for a reason. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Although my LA Fitness membership is *much* cheaper, I decided to make an investment in my health and just go for it. And it is worth it; because I look forward to going and so I go more often, I'm seeing great results.

Both studios have organized and well-trained instructors. The music is a nice touch - very motivating! and there are a lot of classes to choose from each day. I rarely had to be on a wait list and even then, I always got in. The classes always start and end the same (at least the ones I took) which was odd to me at first, but then I started to really like it. It is a nice relief to know you are getting feet in straps after a challenging class!

Alright like any speakeasy , there's some things you should know before coming to your first class ... Parking - OMG This lot is tiny and very limited. There's now QR scan codes to pay for parking , DON'T PAY - use scan codes for FREE parking at front desk. Check in - You will check in around at the newly remodeled front lobby . It's gorgeous ! At the front desk you can scan code for FREE parking . It's not a quick process , so come EARLY. You will have to input a card & plate number , yada yada & of course it's not the go Tucson parking app , it's metropolis ughhh. Entrance - speakeasy spin is located through a side door adjacent to parking , look for a small sign in window . Go in and up the stairs after you check in at the front lobby . Restrooms - UGH You need a code and it's down a hall , then down another hall and it's shared with showers . Of course I walked in on someone nude and changing ! Whoops Equipment - ask what you need before spin starts it's not listed on a board or anything , halfway through I had no idea I needed a band so instructor gave me hers but it was light resistance, didn't feel much . Bikes- Hello Kaiser bikes ! Most spin studios in town use stages bikes but this studio has true Kaiser cycling bikes with universal pedals , cycle shoe clip ins on one side and sneakers will fit into the other side . Kaiser bikes are known for being tough to adjust sometimes but they're a smooth ride . DROP IN - $21 , not bad for a fuss free drop in. Overall- the class I took overall was a bit mellow to be my vibe at 7am , I do prefer a drill sergeant ready to party on a bike in the morning . However this instructor was sweet and helpful . He was professional, safety first minded, pushed us, and laughed with us. Note, you are in a aerial hammock that rubs against your body. Wear a t-shirt to cover your armpits, remove any body jewelry and rings that could get caught against the fabric. BRING LOTS OF WATER! Well, since discovering FIT Yoga's heated vinyasa class with Trey, I have found a new studio that I love on the NW side of town! Trey's class includes a flow that is never the same as the previous week. He sets the class up based off of everyone's skill set. If I feel inclined to add more of a challenge, then I'll make the adjustment. But most of the time, Trey's class is exactly what I'm looking for in my practice. Keep in mind this isn't a bikram class, but exactly as stated: heated. If you're looking for a sweaty class, you won't quite get that. But, you will get an incredible flow and workout in. The class sizes range from 5-8 people which creates more of an intimate setting. Either way, I'm incredibly grateful for the studio and love how it's part of my weekly practice!

I signed up for unlimited two weeks of classes for $20, a deal even for this typically affordable town. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. If you are new to hot yoga it seemed like they were ready to go into a bit of an introduction, but since I shared that I have a lot of experience they quickly moved on and had me on my way. My favorite part was at the end of the class when we were all given cold towels with peppermint essentials oils; I laid mine on my face during shavasana and then wiped down my face, neck, and arms for a refreshing drive home. Tucsons latest and greatest fitness studio has finally arrived !…read more This studio features 2 rooms and a WIDE variety of group classes , cycling (stages bikes ) , HIIT , hot yoga , strength training, sculpt , dance and more . As a brand new studio of course they have a few kinks to work out but overall , great classes and can't wait to watch them grow . 2 showers on location. Cons; Parking - You must gain access and parking all the way in the back of the plaza , your first visit will be rough but after that you'll be good . I'm sure once signage is all up this will no longer be an issue . No water refill station set up just yet , coming soon ( they do sell water )

Location, location, location -- it's one of the most charming plazas in the city, so showing up for a workout here just feels good. This studio brings the full F45 energy: fast-paced, effective workouts and a genuinely welcoming community. They're also on ClassPass, which makes it easy for travelers or locals bouncing around different studios. What really stands out though is that it's more than just a workout spot -- they host community events, run clubs, and social gatherings, so the vibe is always lively and connected.
