Very large rest stop. Restaurant and lots of seating. Bakery, coffee, souvenirs. They have it all here. There's a gem stone and souvenir store next door. Use of restroom is 70 cents. read more

The place is nice and well furnished with modern interiors. The choice of food is also good and I had a nice breakfast at one of rhe chain restaurants in there. Happily stop here again. It's much nicer than many of the stops along this Autobahn.

I made the mistake of pulling in here while driving between Frankfurt and Düsseldorf as my…read moretraveling companion was hungry and complaining bitterly about it. It looks like a relatively clean and normal rest stop, so I couldn't imagine anything being amiss about it and we went ahead and each ordered lunch - a currywurst for me and a regular wurst for him. First off - everything is extra. Including a piece of hard (nearly stale) bread to go with the wurst. Okay, fine - it's a rest stop, and they'll get you where you can. Still, sodas are incredibly expensive, as is bottled water. Far worse is the quality of the food. My currywurst was incredibly bland, and really had no redeeming quality besides sating hunger. My friend though, had a far worse time of it. Despite complaining of the bread and the wurst, hunger won out and he wolfed the meal down. Unfortunately, a few hours later (fortunately, after our road trip was over) I got a text saying that he had gotten food poisoning and was sick all night. Avoid this rest stop at all costs. Eat something before you get on the A3, or pack a sandwich and pull off somewhere to have a picnic, or just deal with the hunger. Stopping here for a bite will only lead to a bad end.
