All food served piping hot! Fish Pakora was light and flakey, Prawn Marsala was marinated 4 hours and then BBQ'd, best I've ever tasted (I asked about the marinade - SO GOOD!). Beef Jalfrezi was super tender and I assume marinated as well. Butter chicken was great too. These cooks really care about food sand the service was super personal, prompt and friendly. If we come through this town again we'll be back, everyone was super happy with the choice. read more

This gem of an Indian restaurant was a unexpected find in Swift Current! We had delivery to our hotel and found the restaurant employee on the telephone very friendly and helpful in making our selections. The Shrimp Marsala came in a delicious,savoury sauce with a generous portions of prawns. One of the best I tasted! Our second dish was Chicken Bayani, which came in a delicious curried rice with generous and huge pieces of chicken. Our order also included 2 nan bread, which were also of a generous portion. The food arrived on schedule, as promised and piping hot! I would highly recommend this restaurant for tired travellers who loved Indian food and want to order in. Should I have the occasion to be in Swift Current again I definitely would be interested in tying a dining in experience at the restaurant. read more

I decided to visit spice hut after reading some positive comment. I order biriyani and chicken curry n ask them to make the curry not too hot but they still made it super hot. My girlfriend could even eat any food cuz it was extremely hot. When I request the lady to ask the chef to make a new one, they just put yogurt in the curry. I could taste the yogurt and spiciness was still there. Upon request she rudely answer "you should have order a mild dish". I was really unsatisfied by the service. It was my first time and last time I visit there. So if you wanna go make sure to order no spice in ur food. read more

I like this place, the food is good and a nice atmosphere, the problem is the food can be inconsistent, sometime I order mild but it comes out pretty spicy, I have acid reflux problem and if it get too spicy it really bothers me. I was once told it depends on who is cooking, but as a franchise you would think there would be more consistent recipe procedures on how to flavour and spice the food. read more

The food here is pretty good, it's just very inconsistent depending on who is cooking, sometimes you can order mild and it'll be pretty hot, this is disappointing because my 3 year old loves the butter chicken sauce but doesn't like it spicy. Sometimes the service is a little lacking, they could come to the tables a little more for refills but usually it is good service. read more
