This is our first visit and first restaurant here in Geneva. We consulted several website. Most said tips are included on bill. But some said that if it's not, one can leave a tip. When we got bill, it wasn't clear and there was no way to leave a tip on bill by credit card. We specifically asked waiter if tip was included. He said no. We ended up giving him in cash (10€ and 2 Swiss Frank). Our hotel concierge informed us later that virtually all restaurants include tip on bill. Consequently, what I will remember of this place is a lying waiter.

As a restaurant, it's not much to look at and I felt that the tables were arranged on a "how many people could we get in here" basis. Decided to order a draught beer, but despite its inclusion on the menu, it was not available. My first choice of bottled beer was also not available so I settled on a Kingfisher (CHF 6.50). The waitress was initially rather curt and less than welcoming. However, as the dinner progressed she lightened up and almost became chatty. For food, we both took the menu at 35 CHF which includes a choice of two starters, two mains, a nan bread and dessert. We were brought a nan and three sauces (offered by the restaurant). The bread was fine. The starter of lamb sheesh was on the dry side but the main course (also lamb) was tender, juicy and quite spicy. I skipped dessert but it was apparently ok. Globally, the food, service and ambience are pretty average. Sure, it's not hugely expensive but there is a lot of room for improvement.
