Went here as part of a Yelp "Feinschmeckerrunde" last night and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is a really nice and the restaurant is well laid out and looks cool. I had an entree of Chicken Satay which was quite well done with tender chicken skewers and a nice peanut sauce. The sauce lacked a bit of punch and would have been nicer if it has a bit of heat to it. For main I had a whole fried fish with a chilli lime dressing. The fish was a tad over cooked and was not as flaky as I would have expected a deep fried fish (i have had this dish numeous times and there is a fine line between flaky and delicious and overcooked). The sauce was nice and spicy and could have done with a bit more seasoning. All in a nice place to go for dinner but for me the hunt for great Thai in Munich continues :-)

I really want to go there again and try a three course meal. Perhaps then I will have a better impression. This time I only had the main dish, which was really good, but nothing exceptional. But maybe I have myself to blame for that, since I made the safe choice and asked for the most regular curry they have in their menu. The place is for sure not inexpensive. Even just ordering the main dish and a bottle of water, it was a bit pricey. They freshness of the food seems compatible to the prices, but for sure I hope they use only BIO products there. Otherwise, I am paying just for the Hype and a Luxurious Buddha-inspired decoration. Well, I ordered the "massaman curry". It was really good and tasty. The portion size good and they did bring an endless amount of rice. I am definitely giving it another try. Let's see...
Outstanding experience all around. The place is beautiful inside. The menu is creative with great wine choices. I sat at the bar and the seating was very comfortable. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Would definitely return, especially for a special occasion. My curry was spicy and delicious. read more

We had a great dinner at Spicery! It was pretty busy when we arrived. We were promptly greeted and seated inside. The chicken satay was possibly the best I've eaten. The spring rolls were fantastic as well. For entrees we shared the Chinese Noodle & chicken curry. Our server was very attentive & friendly. I would definitely recommend Spicery! read more
The most amazing thing about the Spicery is that the food is actually, you know, spicy. After years of ignoring those little hot pepper icons on local menus, confident that our tolerance for heat was 10x that of the average Münchner, we both unexpectedly found ourselves reaching for our beer to cool down our mouths during dinner here. Probably the spiciest thing I've ever eaten in Germany! Spicery is part of the Yum family of Thai restaurants that are popular in Munich. It's on the pricey side, but the food, decor, and service were all quite nice. read more

I just love the food. It tastes great and usually the service is amazing too! Last time it just took a tad too long. If you can't finish your dish, they prepare a doggy bag for you with a side of rice. Vegetables are fresh and cooked perfectly. I'm recommending this place and coming back for sure. read more

Great ambiance... Good food. There is no change request. If it says it is very spicy, it will be very spicy. I ordered a tom yum soup and it was nit warm. The manager did not accept my request in doing the soup mild instead of very spicy. The main course was good (Panang curry). Over priced and good, not amazing . read more

Very good quality and selection of Thai food and drinks. The ambiance is relaxing and quiet...great for a Conversation. On the high end but worth it as the quality of food is so good. It took awhile to place the order, but once ordered everything came evenly spread out and not rushed. Relaxing. Will go back. read more

The place to go in Munich for exotic and excellent Asian cuisine. Very attentive service, not exactly cheap but it is worth every cent. Not your mainstream Thai food place, but a cuisine where you feel the cook knows what he is doing. Really worth a try. Considered ones of the best in Munich. read more

the food was really good but id recommend making a reservation if you plan on going on a weekend night. Ambience was good, dim lighting made for a nice romantic evening. The Bar benches are comfortable and fit two comfortably...Dont shy away from a bar sit if offered upon walk in. I really enjoyed the Yellow curry....Watch out for the little spice pepper, will for sure wake up your taste buds and tear ducts! Would definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. read more

Feeling like eating Thai, this is the place to go. It is absolutely delicious! The food is incredible and so are their cocktails. My favourite Thai dish is 'Massaman Curry' and I probably had the best one here. This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and perfect for eating out with friends or with a date. The portion sizes are pretty big, so you don't have to worry about being underfed. Next time I am in Munich, I will be back. read more

Great restaurant with beautiful decoration. Service from reservation, welcome and throughout the evening was impeccable. Like the concept of the authentic dishes (no change to the dishes). The jungle curry and prawn basil were simply delicious and the South African Shiraz a perfect complement. In short: one of the best Thai dinners I had outside Thailand read more

Wow, that was amazing. Best Thai Food I've eaten in Germany in a long time. I can't judge whether it is authentic or "Germanized", but the ingredients appeared fresh and tasty. The "spiciness" ratings were adequate. On the downside, the prices are rather high even when taking into account that it's way better than the normal Thai Take Out place. The service and the location are awesome. Also a nice variety of beverages (various teas, beers, wines, cocktails etc.). Highly recommendable. read more

The service was wonderful! We weren't hungry enough for a full meal, but had the steak salad. It was spicy but we loved it!

Definitely authentic Thai food. It is a busy place and server was slow. Had to wait 20 minutes to place the order. Little on the expensive side. read more

Alles in allem: sehr enttäuschend.

We generally started getting used to lower service standards in Germany, but this was a bit shocking. We wanted to draw attention of a passing-by bar waiter, for a minor request......what he did, he muttered something and sent another waiter to address us. Next time we needed a help he put his hand in front of our faces, shitting us up, which was very, very rude. It looked like he was annoyed that customers from another area bug him. We are not sure why he was so rude, thinking that dealing with customers in eating area is below his pay grade, or dealing with customers of a female or generally another waiter..... but it did not run through his mind that a customer is.... a customer! We complained to a manager who was saying sorry but did not look sencere. Next glitch was that in a bill there was an "automatic" donation to some charity. Nobody asked us if we would like to donate, they just charged a euro. Not a big amount, but the principle of imposed "donation" was very, very unusual for us. We live in Canada but travel extensively. We can say that we encountered this degree of rudeness only in Russia in 1990's. read more

Fazit: Ich habe selten ein Restaurant so hungrig verlassen read more

Man bleibt besser beim YUM wenn man in dieeser Klasse speisen möchte. read more
