I hired them to assist with a permitting and expediting process with the city based on a trusted referral from another attorney I work with. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. At one point, Michael even advised me to shut down my business...an instruction he later denied in writing. When I raised concerns about the lack of progress and the misinformation, the firm's response was to charge me approximately $2,000 for reviewing documents I explicitly requested not to be reviewed and for sending those two emails. You can call for corporate in Miami and she answers too, because they wont. She is a solid one girl team. Charming and cute as hell. But when you need to get things done. We hired Spiegel & Utrera in 2023 for incorporating our company in the US, which is subsidiary of our German company. At that time, they provided us with an executive employment agreement for me. Their service was good, and we paid a fee for that agreement. This year (April 2024), I wanted to make an employment offer to a new employee. Thinking that the employment contract for a regular employee would be different than the executive employment agreement, I contacted S&U for an employment agreement. They charged ne $1,250 and provided me with the same agreement that they had provided me last year - essentially charging me again for the service for which I had already paid them last year. I brought up this issue with S&U and asked them to review this matter and refund the money they charged me for the services for which I had already paid them last year. It has been over two months now, and I have neither seen a refund nor received any clarification on why I was double charged. Terrible! Someone else helped me open up my corp and used them without my knowledge. Turns out, the S Corp I thought I had is in fact a C Corp (per the IRS in which I called to confirm). I called this law firm to figure out what had happened and both parties I talked to (the woman that answered the phone and the lawyer that called me back) treated me like complete and utter crap. The lawyer kept yell-telling me I was wrong but for extra money he can help fix my previous filed taxes that were filed incorrectly due to this law firm not sending in the correct documentation. I've had a terrible experience with this company. Customer Service is horrible. I was referred to an attorney called Natalia (800-603-3900 ext 208). Extremely rude, uncommunicative. After spending hours on the phone trying to get upgrades made to the company they incorporated for me; I was finally put in contact with this person. After explaining the services I would be needing, she simply said "..ok, now I know what you want "....then simply hung up. Never got any follow-up calls or emails; nothing. I've done business with LegalZoom before. I can't say that everyone has had the best experience with them, but I put my bets on LezalZoom. I regret that I ever did business with this company. There should always be accountability. As you can see, if employees are not held accountable, they step outside the borders. Whatever happened to old-fashioned customer satisfaction?
