Once we got inside and found a good vantage point, I could have stayed all day. What could be more fun than watching people rush to get on a platform that then spins them off into a wall. The last one left wins but if they are too good, the staff will throw medicine balls at them or try to snare them with ropes to dislodge them. Coming from the US where everyone sues everyone, it was crazy to see no waivers, not much in the way of safety... Anyway, I can't think of anything more fun than watching a pile of 8 year olds get spin off into a wall while the DJ blasts "Macarena".

Starnberger See is absolutely beautiful! It's the first place I've seen swans in real life (other…read morethan at Disney Land - sad, I know). I visited in August so it was still quite hot out and there were a lot of people here. My friend and I couldn't find parking so we had to park on the street outside. The experience will differ depending on what side you're on I suppose but there was a lot of little benches around the grassy area and you can sit on the ledge by the water or on the dock. I somehow stepped on a bee so I stood on the dock stairs with my feet in the water for a while. It was really refreshing. There's also a restaurant with a LOT of beach chairs and even tables on their own little dock. It's nice and relaxing. Perfect for hanging out with your friends, family, or going on a date. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the greater Munich area.

I decided to go to Starnberger See and I am so happy that I did, it is such a beautiful lake. I…read morewent in June and the weather was gorgeous, I got the train from Ostbahnhof as far as the lake and it didn't take too long. I went for a walk, took it easy and I also grabbed something to eat at a restaurant located near the lake. The day was super chill, there weren't that many people around and I'm looking forward to going back again
