There are a couple different play areas, jungle, space, treehouse, castle, and pirate ship. Bring extra socks because the pirate area has fountains and splash tanks. Your kids will get wet and so will you. Nothing is worse than wet socks. We had two preteens and one toddler. The bigger kids mainly stayed in the jungle, treehouse, and space areas. The castle was mainly for exploring rooms. There is a huge statue of a horse upstairs. It's manhood is eye level to most and ummm...human. It was weird and awkward. Our toddler played in the ball pit area of the jungle. He had such a ball! (knee slaps. I heart puns!) We took him into the space area and went down some slides. There were half of them I was too chicken to go down alone. Kids were shooting out like rockets. I guess that's the point and all. You get a card at the beginning and that's what you use to pay for everything. You clear your card upon exiting. There is the normal food items with typical pricing. Water, soda, and coffees. I think we spent around 20 euro for drinks and a plate of fries. We went in the afternoon when it was the cheapest. 17 euro vs 8.50 after 4:30. Yeah, I'll take that. I can see why kids want to come here. I can see why parents would want to bring older kids. It's too rich for my blood to come here during the day or multiple times. Once was enough for me.

Zip line, slides, a castle and even a huge pirate boat. They have a good variety of food and drinks. I'm still getting use to everywhere in Germany serving wine and beer.

For all the English travelers visiting Das Leuze let me be the first to share that this is a great…read morereprieve from travels with many health benefits! Whether traveling solo, with friends or family, Das Leuze is an enjoyable experience. I came to Stuttgart to visit my family and suggested we go to a geothermal mineral bath (one of my favorite things to do when traveling abroad). Some tips for your visit: -Bring your own towels, sandals and robes; by the way, we never saw any of these to rent. -Bring your own children's floats, floaty or water arm bands as they are allowed but I do not believe they are available to rent or purchase onsite. -Shoes will not be allowed in the pool areas, only sandals. -You may purchase one time admission for 2 hours maximum or an unlimited day pass for a higher fee. -If you purchase passes for 2hrs max, you must mind the time as overage fees will apply if you exceed the maximum time limit. -You will get a digital wristband to wear during your stay. -There are two levels of lockers and changing facilities. -Bring a Euro coin (€2) to deposit at the first set of smaller lockers as this is where you will lock your valuables, separate from your clothes in the changing rooms. You will get your Euros back when you collect your items. -After locking your valuables, you will select a changing stall to change into and then lock your shoes and clothes in using your digital wristband to lock and unlock. -You must then proceed to the showers to shower and remove any scents from your body as best as possible. -This is also where the restroom/toilet facilities are so plan accordingly. I am happy to share that the facility is very family-friendly with a separate children & family areas for changing and swimming/playtime. The mineral baths/pools range in size and temperatures, with some warmer and others cool. There are both indoor and outdoor options to enjoy, with a wide range available--everything from large and loud/active playing to smaller and quiet/relaxing. There is also a hot tub inside and outside there is a lazy river and swimming with water jets/fountains to massage your muscles. If you parked in the parking lot, be sure to keep your Das Leuze ticket purchase receipt as you must do your parking pass checkout inside before leaving the facility and verify your stay. When in doubt, kindly ask someone if they happen to speak your language or use apps such as Google Translate. They also have sauna onsite but I did not purchase this additional experience. I personally feel like more than 2 hours is needed if wanting to switch between pools and saunas. Also, heads up that saunas do not permit clothing or bathing suits, only towels. Enjoy and have fun!

First of all I have to say that Stuttgart has really great mineral water and this is one of the places you want to enjoy it. It's not cheap, I usually go for 3 hours that's just over 10 euros which can get steep if you have family! You can use the whole place for that money! They have a big inside swimming area with different basins where the water is in different temperatures and comes from different springs. You can grap a bench outside or inside and enjoy swimming and playing.there is a little playground also. What I use the Leuze for although is the sauna and steam bath area, it's included in the entrance fee. There are two parts on both sides of the building with an outside area in between. There are all together 10 steam or sauna rooms with different temperatures and with or without "aufguß" ( that's when somebody puts water on the hot stones in the sauna room),they also have a cold water pool and a cold water " hole" . There is crushed ice around and a lot of beds on several terraces or swinging chairs. They also serve drinks( beer also) and little snacks at a tiny bar.next to that bar are solariums. As you are walking around naked, at least that's what most people do and it is required to be naked in the sauna rooms , be aware that in some areas you can be seen from the outside world so have a robe or a towel handy! The staff is rather grumpy I have to say some smell real nasty because they come back " fresh" from their cigarette break. I love this oasis next to the park and conveniently located next to train stations, and miss it or sauna, the traditional way dearly in the states!
