A friendly waitress translated the Dutch menu into English with the patience of a saint, ensuring I didn't accidentally order something that would challenge my taste buds in unexpected ways. Enter my meal: a gloriously crafted open egg sandwich with salad, paired with decaf coffee (yes, I'm *that* person). What can I say? We quite enjoyed the lobster soup; though I hate to say, I have had better. I am still looking to re-create that lobster soup experience I had when hubby surprised me with a trip to Iceland for my 50th, and the Blue Lagoon was our hang-out during my special day.
