A nightmare of a facility. My Mom was there for rehab of a broken ankle. Elderly but in good…read morehealth otherwise, at my first meeting the director of nursing recommended we withdraw all her meds and medicate her so she "died in peace." And she would have died if I had not insisted upon full care. She was in the rehab-only wing, not the long term care wing, and, yet, EMS was called many times while we were there and at least one younger man of about 55 died. The food was disgusting. If we had not brought food and appetizing treats in, she would have died. She weighed 95 lbs. when we finally got her out of that horrible place. My Mom, who was a long-time medical professional, kept insisting they were giving here something to sleep and she was so disoriented in the morning. They said they were not. One evening I was there when evening meds were distributed and I asked the assistant to go over every pill with me. They were drugging her with Benadryl. I confronted the charge nurse and said, "Are you giving my tiny Mom Benadryl everynight?!" ..."I'll take it off her chart", she said. I don't know how this facility is even open, under Federal regulations. I should have tried to file a formal complaint with Medicare to review and inspect this facility after my Mom somehow survived enough to leave. But my focus was on her care thereafter. Go anywhere, anywhere but here.

All I can say is....I was treated so well I almost didn't want to go home..lol The nursing staff was wonderful, the CNA's were so attentive. Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy helped me more than they know. The food was always good ( except for canned spinach)..good size portions too. After 3 weeks of treatment, they closed the doors. I am now stuck with a bill of thousands for testing that not only puts me in deep debt, but also leaves me without a treatment program. I don't know how anyone can afford this place's program. My insurance company told me they don't cover the testing because it's out-of-network... A detail that I'm sure was simply overlooked by the treatment office staff. But I know the Renaissance Ranch got paid. My councilor was awesome, and the program seamed well planned. But I wasn't afforded the time to find out, and now I've got to setup payments for the next two years. If this place helped you, I'm glad for you. They didn't help me. In fact they set me back.

He made me calm and took care of my dad. He never gave up on my dad. Dave has purchased Holmes for men to recover with other previous addicts. He had atleast 3 Holmes for males and 1 for females that he had purchased. He helped them all he could. His staff are really talented and help in anyway they can. If it weren't for the renaissance ranch my dad wouldn't be where he was today. They host alcohol free chuckars baseball night events and give away lots of awesome swag at every event they do. I don't know how much the card was sold for, I received it as a gift, and I am unable to use it all. it just seems like they were trying to sell me a membership and the punchcard is just a ploy. I wonder if the membership is even usable or if it's also this hard to get in when paying monthly
