I had been experiencing pain in right knee and having trouble bending walking and sleeping without pain. My meniscus had several tears and had just worn out over time. He assured me it would be quite simple to repair an in and out process and it was. I had surgery yesterday and today I feel great and most importantly there is no pain I'm able to function normally and my bandage comes off tomorrow. It's important to me that my doctors can work together to help manage my complex medical history, and I'm not confident this can happen in the atmosphere that the doctors are willing to over look, the staff can make or break the patient/doctor experience.

The admin staff still seem to not be on the ball as much as they could be (late to answer emails, plus previous post). However you go to a place like the joint for the doctors and they are great. Plus the price is reasonable and they really get you in and out. Today was my first visit to a chiropractor so I don't have anything to compare my experience to. My doctor was very nice and popped my back and neck. Time will tell if it helps. What I do have extensive experience with is customer service...hence the single star. I arrived with one person ahead of me. As I filled out my paperwork, 5 people arrived. I turned in my paperwork, and they called the guy who was ahead of me as expected. What was unexpected was that I had to wait for all 5 of the others who arrived after me before I was able to see my doctor. When there are 10 other 5 star chiropractors within a 10 mile radius, this is not how you keep customers. Fortunately for the Joint my doctor was nice and I don't know anything about chiropractic clinics. They have me for one month but if service continues this way I'll for sure be finding another "Joint" for my joints.

When a surgical client of 8 years calls and asks to speak with a nurse or leave an urgent message for Dr Melanie Kinchen because something is really wrong...and you're told no. Your practice has a big staff problem. When you explain multiple things are happening physically and something is really wrong and then once again you're told all the X-rays and MRIs you've done in the last 3-6 months are too old and you must start over. Your practice has staff problem. When you ask to have your records sent to another practice and the response you receive on a Monday is "we will get to it by Friday" then you tell them it's urgent and they give you the same answer or tell you to have the other practice contact them if it's that urgent. YOU HAVE A STAFF PROBLEM. Out of exasperation you make another appointment with a different spine group and before they even receive your notes from your previous doctor (see Kinchen's staffs snarky answers above). The new practice goes on Touchstone's site to see the X-rays and MRIs from 3-6 months ago. Out of the blue the new office nurse calls you to say they are rushing you in to see their neurosurgeon. DOCTOR KINCHEN's PRACTICE HAS A SERIOUS STAFF PROBLEM. RUN DON'T WALK TO THE NEAREST EXIT. So disappointed in Doctor Kinchen and her staff. No excuse. Do better. People's lives are at stake. ‍

The physicians I've seen are good here but I've been waiting following surgery for an authorization…read moreto get sent to my insurance company (TRICARE Prime) so I can start physical therapy (should have been submitted with the referral). Per my insurance company, it is on the same tab in Availity - Providers- TriWest; when you submit the referrals (as the provider). Only a referral was made and PT requires both. So now it still needs to be submitted but now they are saying my PCP needs to. This was the same way in east region (now west for Texas) so I don't know why this is like a new thing to them with authorizations. They worked me into rehab in the meantime which is nice; when I called they wouldn't do that without charging me per visit out of pocket.
