If i could add another star i would.
Spotlessly clean fish and chip shop with a take to counter and a very well appointed seating area.
This location in the past was a great pub, but as times change so do buildings and this one was repurposed as a fish and chip shop.
Plenty of parking is available and there is a nice outdoor seating area.
The real star is the fish and chips. Traditional, rustic and absolutely perfect haddock fried in crispy batter, the fish itself was pure white in color, so bright you almost needed sunglasses to look at it!
Perfect sized and cooked chips, everything made to order and well worth any wait.
There is the usual array of sides, mushy peas, curry sauce and other main offerings like fish cakes, battered sausage, chicken nuggets, scampi etc, with tea and soft drinks also available as well as a few alcoholic beverages.
By far one of the best fish and chip shops you will ever see, if you live nearby, i'm jealous, i'd drive for days to this place! read more
