Be cautious about colors when ordering! I ordered yarn that showed bright blue in color on three different computers and a phone but when I received it it was a completely different color (dark brown /purple). When the store was contacted (I was hoping they would say oops wrong color was posted), they said it looks different because of the computer I was viewing it on. They have agreed to pay for shipping to return it and a credit for the purchase but I was disappointed. I'm not ordering again because the yarn color I hope for might not be what is showing in the ad. Second concern, this store and shipping location is in Canada, so one might assume that the prices posted are Canadian currency - NOT. There is a small area that indicates prices are in us currency but definitely not indicated where the prices are posted. So if you assume because thier country of origin and place of business is Canada they use Canadian currency you are wrong. So you may want to check to make sure they are using yen or Pounds this week. In all fairness, I did not express this concern to them yet because the earlier response to color concerns was met with a "your computer is the problem not ours" attitude. This store was far better than I expected. There was a large selection, well displayed, and easy to shop. I found several balls of my favourite yarn that is now out of production. The staff were helpful, and friendly, but respected my need to look at everything and take it all in before deciding what I wanted. This is definitely going to be a destination for future day excursions from Markham. read more

They have a sale in March and then the amazing Tent Sale in August offers up a huge variety of yarn at great prices. They even have yarn labelled "Tent Sale" - I really enjoy working with this yarn - good quality and a good variety of colours. The staff know what they are talking about, too.
