The fitness classes are unique and the fighters are top notch. I trained and fought at Jack's since the early days and have seen the ups and downs. The jiu jitsu school in the gym told him to stay away from there members its gotten so bad. He was a really cool guy at first. If your not a hot chic or a fighter he doesn't want to be bothered by you. He talked me into upgrading to the open gym because I was there waiting for the kids classes to end and he sat in his office. Came out and helped me maybe 3 times in almost a year. If it wasnt for some of the guys who came in early I wouldnt of learned anything new or got any ring time. Stopped going 4 months ago, stopped payments 2 months ago. Never heard from him til the money stopped commin in. Its really a shame because he is a good instructor but me personally, I cant deal with the drama & mood swings. Funny the new place im going has a handful of old members that all say the same things.

At which time I decided to move and leave the area. I moved a half hour away. Only to find out months later I am being pursued by this group that I owe my membership fees - $280...Even though I explained numerous times that I moved out of the area and that the equipment was faulty and I was not interested in continuing my membership. Recently, I was visited by a Justice of the Peace Court from Delaware, for a judgement for $300 to be paid or they will take a TV from my house of the same value. You have to be kidding me. Buyer Beware!!

It is freezing in there and very uncomfortable to workout in…read more You are supposed to be able to work up a sweat in a gym...not bundle up with layers so you can't move freely. Drafty, no barrier or vinyl separation so every time the door opens, it lets 30 degree temps inside. Also, heavy duty chemical use and smell inside....I was told it was so they didn't have to smell the sweat. Are you kidding me...so we have to work out in a fumigated, febreezed zone, that sets you up for blood cancer. I won't be re-newing my membership. My husband and I are looking for a bonafide, comfortable gym to work out in...not a heavily fragranced tundra.

The equipment is state of the art and incredibly maintained. They have sections for plate loaded machines, there's a section for power lifting, and an extensive free weight section. Additionally, there is also climbing walls, a large Rouge freestanding rack, and turf area. That's not even including the spaces for classes. I really wish that I had this gym back home! If you are in to working out as much as I am, this gym is a must visit, you will not be disappointed.

The heater motor burned out on Tuesday and NO repairs have been made and there is no information available regarding status. It is COLD in the gym. And with next week's forecast showing highs in the 20s, this is not sustainable. An indoor business like this should have HVAC issues resolved same day or, worse case, next day. We're on Day 4 and no workers anywhere. I plan to ask for a refund for any days where it is too cold to use the gym.

I found starfit club and after reading their reviews I decided to give it a try. I was a little intimidated since I've never done a class like this before but I still wanted to at least give it a try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted at the door and I immediately noticed how clean it smelled- the place was spotless (still pretty impressed by it). The gym did a great job with having us clean up after ourselves and the trainer let me know they fully clean in between each class as well. The class itself was unlike any other class I've been to, from stat to finish I definitely got a great workout in. There were clearly people that were regulars and instead of being intimated I was motivated- phew! No one even noticed that I was new until after class when I mentioned it being my first class. My class trainer was Clarissa, she was so welcoming and made sure to help guide me through what I needed to do, without making it noticeable that I was a complete newbie. Thanks Clarissa and Star Fitclub, I can't wait to be back!

A friend referred us to this gym last year and we've been coming ever since. The gym is clean and the instructors are fantastic; motivating for all levels. Star fit is like a "better" version of an Orange Theory - session of weights, cardio (mix up of rowers, assault bikes, and treadmills). They mix up each session very well, so the class always seems to go by really quick! It's def my go to when I'm in NJ!
