My husband Billy and I decided to visit splash kingdom this summer on our trip to see his brother. We took our nephews out to the park and might I say it was such a wonderful experience! The staff was great and the bubbles were magical. My littlest darling nephew had a blast in the kiddie area while the oldest adventured through the big tube slides with a smile on his face. The memories will last a lifetime and we can't wait to print out the photos and hang them in our home back in CO. We have been here in past years. On arrival we learned they have added a fee for parking - $10!!! No signs, nothing on the website, we just walked up and were told we need to pay. There have been some improvements - overall water remains murky and filled with leaves. Staff everywhere are young people with very little training and no customer service skills. Can't bring in anything - not even water unless you pay a cooler fee of $30. Water and ice are free - no food or drinks available until 12:30 - one size pizza for $38.50 plus tax - nachos are broken chips and plastic cheese for $6.50. Entry fees, parking, food for four cost over $200. Absolutely absurd. Could not be more disappointed and feeling fleeced. Additionally, there are safety hazards all over the the park - bolts sticking out of the ground around poles holding shade tarps, trip hazards, and at the base of the coyote and wrangler slides there is an aluminum pipe sticking out of the ground approximately 6" - now cover, no warnings, no red paint, no caution tape. Just sitting there waiting to trip up someone. read more

This place is ridiculous. We went yesterday and the smaller kids wanted to do the water slides but they had no double tubes out and wouldn't let you use one from lazy river . On top of all this the water is dirty with lots of bugs and leaves and the restrooms are filthy plus everything else needs repainted etc . We know you have the money for the prices you charge . The life guards are a joke . If you will watch them they walk back and forth and turn there heads from left to right and as doing so look up at the sky as if someone is drowning up there . I'm betting they wouldn't even know if someone drown unless someone in water told them . They look like robots at their stations. Now for even more information, their food is ridiculously over priced like a pizza is 50.00 wtf????? Are you freaking kidding me ? No ice chest unless your a member wtf??? We have little kids that need food and water while out I. Heat and can't afford to spend 50.00 on a pizza or 8.00 for a hot dog . The park is in a serious state of disrepair - broken loungers and other furniture, torn shade covers and umbrellas. Everything needs to be repaired and cleaned, and have a fresh coat of paint. Several of the slides / rides are closed, and the water in the wave pool is cloudy. At the front gate, one of the supports for a features has exposed plumbing and electrical wires! Even more concerning is the disregard for customer safety. Walkways are slippery and coated with algae. It appears that there are numerous problems with plumbing, leaks, and general drainage. read more

An absolute waste of money. The tables are all cracked and falling apart, stagnant stinky water in some areas and not nearly enough tables with shade. I'm not sure who designed this park, but it's not ideal for very small kids or the elderly with the very steep hills. The food was nasty and they don't offer everything that's on their menu online. The chicken strips were old and dry, the hot dog appeared to have been cooked yesterday and the pizza was cold and burnt. My kids were excited about the wave pool and in four hours time, it may have been activated four times...maybe. We will stick with Hawaiian Falls. read more

My kids love this place but it's because it is all that they know. The park needs major updating. They need more shade. The lazy river water level is always incredibly low. It doesn't even go to my knees. Lifeguards need to enforce rules on older kids in the small child area. I was a lifeguard instructor back in the day and an aquatics director so I'm familiar with procedures. They do a great job at the wave pool but they get lazy at the one with small children. Also, some sort of pads at the bottom of the slides in the small children area would be beneficial as well. read more

Needs updating badly! Water was so low in the lazy River when floating you would hit the bottom of the pool. Not enough shade and the tables were all cracked from the sun which made it a bit dangerous to sit on. The "toilet bowl" slide never opened and there were not enough tubes to go around. I suppose you get what you pay for. Single day tickets are only $12.95. Also for a marketed Christian run place I was surprised to hear secular music playing. Not sure we will return. read more

The only good thing about them is they are local. They are seriously overpriced for what little they offer. The food is stale and also overpriced. Not enough seating or shade. Algae and trash are everywhere. They kicked all kids out of the kid area because the manager decided it was now the toddler area. The lazy river is disgusting. Splashed 8 used bandaids out of it into the middle area and was told not to by the lifeguard. The wave pool is a joke. The deep part it roped off because there used to be an inflatable obstacle course. The "new" ride that was opened 2 years ago is not in use because it is dangerous. read more

We had a great time at Splash Kingdom Wild West yesterday. The food was affordable, the rides were great and lines were nonexistent. We had a great spot in the shade where I could see the kids in the kiddie pool. I have two complaints, in hopes that the park will see this because they don't have reviews allowed on their page. 1. We rented a locker to put my backpack in, process was easy and affordable. However, the locker area was disgusting. There was trash everywhere, including but not limited to a dirty diaper. 2. This is my big issue. When we arrived and got settled, I was putting sunblock on everyone, when my 5 and 9 year old were done, I told them to go play in the kiddie pool where I could see them. They were standing under the big bucket that dumps, to the left of the pool looking from the chairs. When the bucket dumped, it was so forceful it knocked my 5 year old off his feet and on to his face, I'm telling you, it was so powerful it pulled my 9 year old's shorts down. My husband ran to them and my son was on the ground in the water. He has a scrape on his knee, a bruise on his face and a cut on his hand. This is all in a pool designed for babies and small children, plenty of which were in the pool. What if that had been a baby underneath it instead of my skinny 5 year old? I think an adjustment needs to be made. It scares me how hard and fast it hit them and how much water was in it. The other buckets were nowhere near the speed and volume of this one and I watched them. I realize his injuries are very, very miniscule but should a child come out of a splash pad meant for toddlers with scrapes and bruises? read more

I bought the tickets to Splash Kingdom based on the low price however it would not be one I recommend. The facilities were old and dated. There are some shaded structures that have giant screws sticking straight up with nothing protecting peoples feet as they are near the walking areas. The bathroom was atrocious and the park had just opened. One star for the price and one star for the young kid area. read more

The park is very small. As soon as we arrived, the staff is rude as hell! First stop was the restrooms as we had a long drive. They were atrocious! Dirty, full trash cans, poop splattered seats and this was upon arrival when they opened, so obviously the restrooms were never cleaned from the day before. No floats available for the lazy river, maybe only 10, and about 6-8 laying on the ground not inflated and unable to be used. Not enough tables and chairs at all. I almost booked a cabana online and so glad I did not. They did not include admission and when you see them, it's absolutely laughable! A picnic table with an umbrella in a fenced (very old) small area. What a flipping joke. I would have been so pissed if I had paid for a cabana and then saw that! Biggest ripoff! Don't waste your time and your money. Go to another REAL water park. read more

Lazy river is Super slow! There are bugs in the pool. I saw 100June bugs and six grasshoppers. all of the fun rides where close and the blow up course was deflated .I don't recommend coming here! -sharon read more

Please please get some adults working here!! The college / high school kids are nice enough, but not mature enough to handle being leaders quite yet. Also, for a family friendly place that I thought had some morals (Christian supposedly) I was shocked what girls were allowed to wear. Full on thong bathing suits. There should be a dress code of sorts enforced! The music was not Christian and some was very inappropriate. The food is disgusting we do not eat there. The cabana's are laughable and sooo expensive!! PUT MORE WATER IN THE LAZY RIVER!!!!!! All in all I wish we could buy season passes, but no way we are paying for that. If it wasn't for our youngest son who can find joy in anything, we would never ever go back. Please do some work to make this place what it should be!!! It's very sad no one who owns it or works there seems to care. Very sad. read more

I took my mother and niece on a Monday and we had a ball. Andrew, the park manager, was amazing. He was helpful every step of the way. Our cabana was at the wave pool entrance, so my mother would not have to walk far. Alex, from the concession stand, was our attendant and he was just as attentive and cheerful, as Andrew was. I would have given the park 5 stars but there were 2 issues. 1st, the bathroom near the wave pool smelled like old pipes or something was clogged. The 2nd complaint was the bugs in the lazy river. There has to be a way to clean them out. Other than that, my family and I had a blast and we will return. read more

Bigger than your average watering hole but not so big that you tire walking from location to location. There are rides parents will love as well as for those 4 and under. Lazy river, inner tube rides, wave pool. 8 slides adults and kids will enjoy and shallow pool play area for little ones wit smaller slides and fountains. Price is reasonable. You get a price break if you come before the noon hour. Good family fun. Although the park has a christian theme, the swimsuits in and of themselves don't all necessarily have a christian theme. ;) However, we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with the kids. read more

There's a really cute lifeguard named Riley and he is one of the best lifeguards ever. I really recommend him!

The park is over priced for the little amenities to offer. We paid $18 per person (3) and $80 for a cabana they didn't put our reservation up on and no other services provided that was accommodating. The overall customer service is horrible, they have a rude off the top female manager that is horrible providing any kind of service she's very defensive and she pissed me off. This place is ran by a bunch of college kids that make up their own rules. One sign reads No clear floats past this point and when you Look into the wave pool (which I only seen 1 wave occur in the 4hours spent). I told the manager the floats were not suppose to go past that point as I read the sign, since she's "BIG' on rules, she argued telling me they were allowed, it's the same exact clear floats that read not to leave past the lazy river point. Lazy river is more of a work out than lazy. I watched toddlers climb up slides backwards and not one "Guard" stopped them. I witnessed gossip from one staff to 5 others and it's NOT hard to ignore. And while my son was ridding the fast water slides with me I was told I would not fit into an open slide going down the snake pit with him, I felt insulted "that I wouldn't fit" and when I asked an explanation all I was told was that I could speak to her manager. Manager said we couldn't go down the closed in tubes because it's too small and it's human nature to save only your self in any accident, well apparently she doesn't have children because i wanted to slide down with him to make sure he was confident enough to pop up out of the 4ft water because he's only 3ft tall. There's NO sign that reads THAT rule she made up. Wet n wild Hurricane harbor even lets a parent slide down with their child this place is Nothing Large so the liability rules here must be at jeopardy for them. Came here today. Park was dirty, lazy river was nasty and none of the jets were on so you had to walk. Not enough tubes anywhere and those they did have were almost flat. Almost no tubes in the wave pool. Blue mats for the slide were broken and torn and dirty plus had only about 10 available. Bath rooms were horrible. Kiddy area was ok. And the life guard running was dangerous. We nearly got ran over several times. So sad this park is this dirty. Only gave 1 star because that's the only way I can post a review. Splash kingdom is a wonderful park if you have young kiddos. It's the perfect "worry free" place for a day in the sun. The park is small and fenced in. There is a large splash area with water slides for younger kiddos as well as a wave pool, lazy river and a few water slides for older kiddos. It is very clean and well taken care of. The lifeguards are great! I LOVE that they play Christian music. What a blessing of a place to the community. read more

It's so small there is one tiny place for kids to play. The staff is not that friendly and there really isn't much to do. Although the idea of it is great it just didn't live up to the expectation. My feet are destroyed,, the pricing was expensive ,, and two dollars for a bottle of water was ridiculous, although me and my grandson (4yo) met height and weight requirements we were both injured on the bad slide when our tube capsized and drug our faces accross the slide ,, when I asked management to do something , I was informed that we never should have been allowed on that slide ,, also paid full price but lazy river was closed and wave pool water was brackish ,, was not impressed with park or staff. read more

Complete waste of money. The size of the park does not warrant what they charge. There were bugs (roaches) swimming in the wave pool, spiders all over the walls of the lazy river and there was trash in the bottom of the lazy river. The kid area had what looked like brown water coming up of two spouts. My daughter cut herself oh one of the slides. The lifeguards weren't doing their jobs, half of them were socializing instead of watching the customers. They weren't consistent with the rules, they didn't tell you when it was safe to go down a slide so we were left guessing or asking if it was time/safe to go and then were rude and put out. Definitely not enough lifeguards supervising. There are slides at the front of the park and then the rest is on the other side of the park, not ideal at all. They also will not allow you to take in a baby bottle with water for formula, juice for a toddler or snacks for the babies. My older kids can eat what they have (over priced crap) but my toddler doesn't eat pizza, cotton candy or popcorn. Going back to the car to feed the baby was absolutely ridiculous. We will never go back. First and worst experience ever. read more

Dont expect anything like hurricane harbor. It's small and not too crowded. I liked it for that reason. Tons of life guards on duty and lots of fun things for smaller children to do. Only a handful of "big" slides. The lazy river and wave pool are small. I would say it's definitely geared towards smaller children. Price was $18 which I thought was a bit much for what the park is. We've supported Splash Kingdom over the last 3 seasons with season passes for our family. We've never been impressed, to say the least, but it was always enough that this was so close to our house. That's really no longer the case. Maintenance and staff have always been the weak points of this park. This year those issues have magnified. Life guards constantly run thru the park as fast as they can (some of the young guys sprint while looking to see if the girls can see them)...my daughter has had several close calls and so have I. The reason park management gives is that they're trying to relieve whatever guard they're headed to on time. It tells me their understaffed and worry less about a guest getting plowed over than saving the $60-70 a day an extra lifeguard would cost (these kids make minimum wage...even the instructors on the FloRider). The kids running the Pizza Shack are clueless. A simple snocone with will take them 5-10min to make and requires them to ask what flavor you want 2-3 times on average. Lines are long because they take @5 minutes to complete a single order. Maintenance at the park has gotten progressively worse. The FloRider---a 6-figure investment---is getting more dilapidated by the day and the boards they using are torn and broken making them a safety hazard even for riders who know what they're doing. Even one of the instructors brings a board of his own because he knows what they have are dangerous. He says the corporate office has resisted buying more because of the expense. Again...guest safety seems less important than a few bucks. Well...that is unless you try to enter without your season passes. I asked the front window if they could check me in with my state ID because my wife had our passes with her at work. They refused and charged me $6 to reprint passes because they needed them to scan and 'ensure my safety' by having a record that I was at the park. Such a crock. The lazy river has had jets broken now most of the season---but ask the management and they feign ignorance. Actually they probably don't know because they're not bothering to check. Water quality is poor in both the wave pool and lazy river...but haven't been clear this season. The wave pool is actually getting pretty gross. The FloRider has some sort of corrosion showing up around the edges and the water jets seemed clogged with water spraying up into your face. The grounds are frankly embarrassing. Nothing has been mowed since maybe the start of the year. They've never invested in landscaping and apparently now refuse to even just keep things neat. There's just very few good points here. The best thing that could happen would be for the city to buy this place out and take over the exceedingly poor management. It becomes a little bit more grating when they use the religious stuff all throughout the messaging of the park. I'd put more in their offer plate if they'd return fair value...as is it's $100 season pass (Hurricane Harbor price!) for $30 experience. Really poor, really disappointing. We came to Splash Kingdom because of the proximity to our house for a day in the sun. The water park itself is a nice size for kids 10 and under. Enough to keep our 7 year old entertained all day. All the water slides were not too scary for her to go on but if she was much older it would probably be a little boring. The price of the park was about what we expected for a water park even one of this size. The food however was SO gross. I anticipated relatively basic water park food however the food here was worse than what you would find in a public school cafeteria. The chicken tenders and fries tasted like they made them yesterday. They were hard to chew and barely warm. The grilled chicken wrap was flavorless. Even though the prices weren't bad, the food was so bad. If they don't let you bring in your own food they should at least offer something that tastes better. Overall a good water park to come to for a day but make sure you eat before you come. read more
