An absolute waste of money. The tables are all cracked and falling apart, stagnant stinky water in some areas and not nearly enough tables with shade. I'm not sure who designed this park, but it's not ideal for very small kids or the elderly with the very steep hills. The food was nasty and they don't offer everything that's on their menu online. The chicken strips were old and dry, the hot dog appeared to have been cooked yesterday and the pizza was cold and burnt. My kids were excited about the wave pool and in four hours time, it may have been activated four times...maybe. We will stick with Hawaiian Falls.

We had a great time at Splash Kingdom Wild West yesterday. The food was affordable, the rides were great and lines were nonexistent. We had a great spot in the shade where I could see the kids in the kiddie pool. I have two complaints, in hopes that the park will see this because they don't have reviews allowed on their page. 1. We rented a locker to put my backpack in, process was easy and affordable. However, the locker area was disgusting. There was trash everywhere, including but not limited to a dirty diaper. 2. This is my big issue. When we arrived and got settled, I was putting sunblock on everyone, when my 5 and 9 year old were done, I told them to go play in the kiddie pool where I could see them. They were standing under the big bucket that dumps, to the left of the pool looking from the chairs. When the bucket dumped, it was so forceful it knocked my 5 year old off his feet and on to his face, I'm telling you, it was so powerful it pulled my 9 year old's shorts down. My husband ran to them and my son was on the ground in the water. He has a scrape on his knee, a bruise on his face and a cut on his hand. This is all in a pool designed for babies and small children, plenty of which were in the pool. What if that had been a baby underneath it instead of my skinny 5 year old? I think an adjustment needs to be made. It scares me how hard and fast it hit them and how much water was in it. The other buckets were nowhere near the speed and volume of this one and I watched them. I realize his injuries are very, very miniscule but should a child come out of a splash pad meant for toddlers with scrapes and bruises?

    Snake slides were her favorite!

I took my 10 year old granddaughter here for a fun day in the sun. The staff was so friendly and helpful, lifeguards were very attentive and the place was clean. We both had a great time and would definitely come back again.

They check your bags/cooler and scan your tickets, then let you go about your day. My friend and I split the cost of a shaded Splash Picnic spot just to make sure our older kiddos had a landing base to re-up on snacks and drinks. Our name was printed on the reserved spot making it officially ours! It is SUPER cool they allowed our own cooler with ice packs, although it would've been a tiny bit more amazing to sip on a girlie marg. I sent my friend on a scavenger hunt to see if they sell any type of alcohol of any kind and turned up empty, just as a heads up to others who may wonder too. While I mostly stayed in the toddler swimming hole and kiddie water slides, and shuffled over to try out the wave pool, my oldest told me about the Lazy River on the other side. She also told me about her "losing her soul" on the dropout slide ha! She had fun, but it took her breath away for sure. Bathrooms are air conditioned. Parking was ample, shade was more plentiful than Hawaiian Falls, and you can reserve seats online if you don't want to risk not having a spot. Overall, a fun family-friendly space to have a good time outdoors!

NRH2O isn't nearly as big as Hurricane Harbor, but I prefer it for several reasons. For one, there are quite a few trees and grassy areas all throughout the park, providing shade and cooler grounds and all around cooler, happier vibes. Plus, tickets and passes are more affordable, and perhaps most importantly (especially to anyone with special dietary needs): you're allowed to bring in your own food and drink. Of course there are limitations on ice chest size and you can't bring in glass containers or alcohol, but it's so nice to be able to pack your own snacks and drinks. Not in loose ice, though, that's another rule. Your ice has to be bagged up (we just use ice-packs). Employees check through your bags very thoroughly at the entrance. I haven't been on any of the bigger slides in years, I now stick to the kiddie-spaces or the lazy river. I was in the wave pool recently with my niece and didn't have as much fun as I remember having when I was younger, haha. The park overall is pretty clean and well-maintained. Nothing looks like it desperately needs refurbished or sanitized! There are I believe 3 different "restaurants" onsite and then a handful of drink and dessert stands. You can find aaaall of your theme park favorites: hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, fries, nachos, quesadillas, pizza, pretzels, cotton candy, chips, kettle corn, etc. There's also frozen lemonade, dippin' dots ice cream, and a churro food truck onsite! You'll have a great time at NRH2O if it's not ridiculously crowded and you're able to find yourself a little home-base with shade. You can reserve canopies and tables online, but they go fast!

He loves waterparks more than anything in life, but we've already been to Great Wolf Lodge on multiple occasions, and we preferred to book with Bonvoy points over shelling out the cash for GWL. Plus, we didn't have a ton of waterpark time on the schedule - win, win, win. One thing that was frustrating is that there was zero record anywhere on the internet of the height requirement for the slides here. Well, internet, I'm here to save you with the answers. We have a son that was 43" as of this visit, and he would be crushed to get his hopes up about doing these slides, only to find out that he's not allowed to. There's one big water "castle" with 3 slides. Those requirements are 42". We actually came here a couple of years ago and he definitely did those slides then, and he was most certainly not 42" then. So I'm not sure if they just changed these or they just weren't enforcing the rules in 2023, but they definitely were measuring him on this visit. Then there's one bigger water slide that's stand alone. The requirements are that you have to be 48" to ride freely, but 42-47" is ok with a life jacket. And then the same restrictions apply to the zip line where you can jump in the water after hanging from several feet above the water. The annoying thing about this was that we were there early in the morning and were the only ones doing it. Yet the lifeguard literally measured my son each time he walked up, despite the fact that he was literally doing it over and over again with no one else around. Make it make sense. Overall, this is not the most amazing waterpark you'll find. But when you book with points, all you have to pay is the resort fee and for parking. It's pretty good bang for your buck when you think about it in those terms.

We specifically planned our day around visiting the water park and arrived around 1 PM expecting to stay until closing. Unfortunately, the park was closed around 4 PM due to approaching weather. While I completely understand that safety comes first, what disappointed me was how ResortPass handled the situation afterward. Despite the fact that we lost most of the experience we paid for and had no opportunity to return because my family had already left the country, ResortPass only offered a 50% refund. They based their calculation on the park's total operating hours rather than the actual circumstances of our visit. Parking costs were not addressed, and the fact that future tickets would be useless to us seemed to be ignored. After further discussions, the only additional compensation offered was a 20% discount on a future ResortPass booking, which provides little value considering the situation. Customer service was polite, but the final resolution felt disappointing and did not reflect the unique circumstances of our visit. I expected a company that values customer experience to handle this situation more fairly. Would not book through ResortPass / Paradise Springs again based on how this issue was resolved.
