I love my nails a lot. My nails look fantastic. The salon was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it!"

Nothing beats a mani/pedi and Splendor. I've been coming here for two years, and I never leave disappointed. I typically treat myself to the nicest mani/pedi packages, and leaving with only spending $120 including tip doesn't hurt the bank account too much; especially for the quality here at Splendor. Kind, clean, and my go to place every time. I always highly recommend!

I'm so happy with my nails. The salon was clean and the staff so friendly . I love my nails High recommend it.

The staff was friendly and the lady did a fantastic job on my nails. The salon was clean, and the service was quick and effcient. High recommend !!!!

Got a nail infection from this place- I got my nails done here twice in a row after moving to the neighborhood and after a removal (at this same place) I found that a number of my nails had major discoloration & I now have to go to the doctor to make sure I can treat it properly. This has never happened to me before & I have found through research that this happens due to unsanitary equipment & practice by nail techs. I wish I checked reviews before so that I know others had this type of experience & avoid this whole situation. I will not be going back, the place "looks" nice but it's poorly managed... just sharing my experience so others know they could end up in bad situations from going to splendor too

I've been a customer for about a year and 3 mo. all visits in which were 5 mo. apart. No matter where I go, it's always the same service.. If you're going to be expensive, at least do the job to match the price. I should've known they aren't masseuse. I asked for 5 more minutes In hopes she'd massage my feet and legs; needles to say I wasted $5. I bet she didn't even time herself for 10 mins, that's my fault for not timing. Don't be shy like me and speak up about your nails, this s**t too expensive to giving away money. **I got my nails done on Saturday 06/04** **the pictures are from 06/08**

My favorite place to get my nails done! I am always satisfied with my mani pedis every visit. They have great polish options, amazing customer service, and takes their time to perfect your nails/toes. I got my gel mani done last week and they're still going strong - not a chip in sight! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a relaxing and amazing time to pamper yourself. :) P.s. they are taking great precautions with Covid-19. Everything feels safe and sanitized!

Friendly staff and hard workers. They have social distancing for their pedi and mani stations which is nice. Also have sanitation bottles at each station as well. First time visit and had a nice time. I ended up changing my mind on the manicure and went with an acrylic set. Had to wait for another person but was worth it. She did an excellent job with my nails and made sure each nail was straight and perfect. Lots of filing but she took her time. Thank you everyone that helped me out and the rest of my party.

If I could give less than one star I would.... I went here to get my. Previous acrylic Nails removed and I'm not sure what lady did my nails because I never got a name but she picked at my nails and made 3 nails out of 5 bleed. I asked her to change her method and to soak my nails instead of just cut away and shove a tool through my nail. And she blamed me for having "too" thin nails. My left hand was done the proper way after going through the pain of the right.

2/24/13 2 days later, still bleeding & from the top view of my foot, there is a flat spot where my skin was grated off.

This past Sunday I decided I'd spoil myself and get a manicure and pedicure. I decided to go to my normal "go to" nail salon as I've been an off and on customer of theirs for almost 5 years and have never had a problem. There was the normal pick the service you want from the card and the pressure from the girls trying to sell you something more expensive.... I'm used to that happening every time, so not surprised, though a little annoyed. I had brought in my own nail polish as well (more on that in a minute). Now for the reason I will NEVER go back. Whilst doing my pedicure, the girl was using a pumice stone and literally grated the skin off the outside of my left toe from pushing too hard! She did not say a word, much less apologize! She just rested my foot on the basin and walked away. I looked at it as she was walking away and the skin was sticking straight off of it and I was bleeding. In fact over the past 2 days I've bled through 4 baindaids! (I know for a FACT that I did not have a callous where I was skinned. I NEVER get callous' there and in fact the day before I had used a ped-egg on my feet so I didn't have any rough skin that needed to be grated off anyway). The other girl doing my fingernails said that I have thin skin.... Excuse my french, but that's bull sh*t! I looked at her and said, "Um, no, I think she was pushing too hard!" When she returned from wherever, she took a cotton ball and soaked it with some blue solution which she called "bleach" and placed it on my toe which really frikin hurt! and then continued on with the treatment. I had opted for the slightly more expensive massage package with the hot stone which practically never touched my legs. My leg mucsles were aching and that was the main reason I decided to get the pedicure - to have someone rub my feet and legs.... with a hot stone. Sadly I did NOT get what I paid for... And now in hindsight, I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but they did not offer me a discount and I was too in shock (or too much of a push-over to demand a discount). So I paid almost $60 for a manicure and pedicure and left with my toe bleeding through the bandaid and staining the little slipper thing they give you to walk out of the store with. (see pictures above) Oh, and they still have my $7 nail polish that I brought in with me. I called and they have it at the front desk, but I don't know if I want it back. I don't think I can trust that no one else has used it.... Oh, and I'm not sure if the girl threw out the pumice that she used to scrape my skin off, which also had my blood all over it... NEVER again.

Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. We tend to tip ~20% after each service (occasionally higher when we get our favorite massage therapists) We went last night and the lady with the Zelle name "Li Zhao" was quite rude. Instead of asking if we want to tip, she asked if I had Zelle. I knew what she meant and said yes. I did a rough math estimate for 20% for both therapists and sent the money. She asked if it was supposed to split for two therapists. I said yes she then said something to her coworkers and acted like it was not enough until a coworker said something back. She then turned around looking upset but still said thank you. We left confused and felt like she was judging us for tipping 20%? In my opinion, tipping should always be OPTIONAL but I will always tip for services knowing it is optional. Also here's the math: the total was $254 and I tipped $50 which is ~20%. I did the math in my head so I knew I maybe short with some change. When I do the calculation on a calculator it should've been $50.80. I was short $0.80 but I didn't think that much would be bothersome??? Giving 4/5 for all the good experiences. However for the lady, 1/5 for greed.

Of course she put a lot of oil and started rubbing me. I asked for more pressure 5 times and she would go back to her normal pressure. She would just repeat one pattern over and over again on my legs and hands and back. In the middle of the massage, she asked me to lay on my back and I had to remind her I was 8 months pregnant and couldn't lay on my back. She said but I want to massage your head. Im like but Im pregnant, I can't lay on my back!! I was not happy so I tipped her low. She said this was a $95 massage and I said you don't know how to massage a pregnant woman. She just looked at me like she was not convinced. Then she followed me all the way to my car to get more tip. If you care about your tip money, please deliver good service. I came in for a 90-minute Vital Premium Scrub and left completely transformed. First, the space itself: spotlessly clean, with none of the black mold issues I've seen creeping into older spas in the Saratoga area. That alone is a relief. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Young, and she is in a class of her own. Small but telling detail: she uses a gel face pillow so you can lay face-down comfortably the entire session. If you've had enough massages, you know how much a folded towel starts to hurt after an hour. I asked if this was a house standard -- it's not, it's just her. That kind of thoughtfulness sets the tone for everything. Her scrub technique was the best I've experienced in 20 years. No exaggeration. Her massage hit every trigger point without me having to redirect her once -- pressure, focus, timing -- all dialed in perfectly. The front desk staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and they personally walk new guests through the space so you never feel lost. The one area with room to grow: the aftercare products in the drying area. Having visited spas in Palo Alto, and even facilities in South East Asia, I've come to appreciate a quality face lotion and hair cream post-scrub -- especially when you're not carrying your own. A small upgrade there would make this truly flawless. Also worth noting: there's a communal lounge with 30 minutes of complimentary massage chairs, laptop workspace, and free WiFi. Hidden gem. ANDDD there's a cafeteria!! This is my new favorite spa. Hands down.

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!

The Spa Los Gatos has been one of my steady favorites over the years. I've come here on and off for…read morea few years and overall it's always a solid experience. Every visit can vary slightly, but generally the service and atmosphere don't disappoint. I recently booked a Swedish deep tissue massage. It was good and relaxing, though I personally prefer a more intense, hard-core pressure session. That said, the therapist was professional and attentive. One thing I really love about this place is the thoughtful layout. I hadn't explored upstairs before, and I didn't realize how spacious it actually is. The individualized sauna after your service is such a great touch and really elevates the overall experience. The small boutique is also charming and makes it easy to browse self-care products before heading out. If you're looking for a dependable spa experience in Los Gatos with relaxing amenities and a calm environment, this is a strong choice.

Prior to seeing Lucy to deal with my shoulder issues, I've had hundreds of massages around the world--Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley, The Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay, 10,000 Waves in New Mexico, etc. Hands down, the technique, pressure, and precision of massage therapy at Luxe Spa is second to none--even though the humble establishment is discreetly posited in small market parking lot. Lucy and her therapists know exactly the spots to rub and push out and they use a variety of sophisticated techniques--even "walking" on the back use toes like fingers to press out spots of tension. Truth be told, it is a newer business and things don't go perfect every time, but Lucy is very gracious and professional if there's ever a schedule mix-up or if a therapist used happens to fall below expectations (rare), Lucy always goes out of her way to make it right. I can't emphasize enough how 'renewed' I feel every session--and I've had over 30 for this year. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. Go there!

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience from Start to Finish…read more My friend purchased a Groupon deal for a therapeutic massage for my birthday, and I was really looking forward to it. I haven't had a massage since I gave birth, and given how stressful things have been, I was excited to finally relax. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the very beginning. The woman at the front desk initially did not want to accept our vouchers. She called the manager, who then told us to cancel our Groupon vouchers and pay them directly instead. This was extremely inconvenient, especially since there is no guarantee that Groupon refunds go through right away and can take 3-5 business days to process. We declined, but they continued to push us to pay upfront even though we already had valid, prepaid vouchers ready to use. It wasn't until I said, "Are you saying we can't be seen today? Because we are not going to cancel our vouchers," that they finally agreed to take us back. During the massage, the two masseuses kept talking to each other and laughing. Instead of being in a calm, relaxing environment with peaceful music, it felt distracting and uncomfortable. The constant talking and laughter made me feel uneasy, and at times it even felt like we were being talked about. The situation got worse at checkout. We both left a tip, and when they asked how much we would be tipping, one of the masseuses said in her language to the other, "She's only tipping ____," and they both laughed. Then the other masseuse responded, "How about ____?" This felt extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping should be based on the customer's discretion, not something that is commented on or suggested in that way. Overall, this experience was far from relaxing and left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I will NOT be returning.
