No one will ever pick up the phone when you try to get in touch with any specific person. Everyone hides behind their voicemail. I wouldn't do business with these shady characters. Not sure what is up with all the sourpuss reviews. Fabulous company, powerful software, and super-smart and dedicated people all across the organization. I've gotten an incredible amount of helpful info and learning from both SplunkLive! events I've attended plus the Las Vegas Splunk conference was amazing. (And I am not a fan of Vegas.) The Splunk office at 250 Brannan is a terrible neighbor. Splunk cares nothing about the people who live around their office. Any excuse for a party on their outside deck is their MO. The neighbors suffer through endless, obnoxious and extremely loud karaoke parties, loud bass music blasting away and people playing basketball at all times of day and night. Fear Splunk--I tried to apply for a job at this company. After they gleaned one hour of my time filling out their insidious job application that demanded far too much personal and confidential information. I submitted the application only to receive an email from their human resources department with a link to a third party corporation that wanted access to my facebook account--and all of my friends contact information. Splunk sent a note with this "requirement" under the guise that "we are a federal government contractor and require you to fill out X form in order to consider you for this position..." The alleged form was held hostage by a third party commercial corporation that wanted access to my facebook data, and my friends. What a scam! I wrote them a response and they never replied. Seriously, this company is obviously run by scamming morons. Steer clear at all costs! Losers and buffoons on parade here. There you have it. Fear Splunk. read more

Typical disorganized chaotic startup company growing too fast and eventually crumbling upon itself! Bunch of unprofessional people work here who don't have the decency to return phone calls because they lack manners. Their HR Tech Recruiter, Eleni called me many times to set up a phone interview with one of the IT managers, Mark Schmick. She told me to make sure to be avaiable around 11am by phone. The unprofessional nincompoop never called and when I emailed the even more unprofessional HR person to inquire as to what happened, she ignored my email too! I was very nice and well behaved the whole time. Whether the position was filled or the manager saw something on my resume at the last minute and changed his mind about calling me, they should've had the decency and professional courtesy to send an email and just say something like: we don't think you're a suitable candidate or the position has been filled, etc. rather than just being unprofessional and ignoring people. I am sure they won't like it if the same was done to them! read more
