Talk about customer service!! This place is WONDERFUL!! And I'm saying that as someone who worked in a hospital for 30 years!! First visit, so there was some expected paperwork to fill out & sign. Three pages. I was about 10 minutes early, knowing that I would need to do this. Just finished page one & they called me back to a room. Met with a very cordial young lady & answered her questions. Then a very few minutes later I met (a very nice lady) Julie. Explained my concern, considering family history. She gave me a shot just above my cheek bone, to numb the area. I HATE NEEDLES!! But I didn't even feel it! She took the biopsy, put some antibiotic gel & a bandaid on it and VIOLA! It was done! And I hadn't even completed my paperwork!! So I went back out to the waiting area, signed the other two papers & gave them back to the receptionist & was on my way home! read more

I'm in the same boat at Madison M! It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a medical office! Dr. Werschler performed an Insta-Lift (Sillhoette Sutures Lift) on my face and I was HORRIFIED with the results! I had researched PDO thread lifts and watched videos on how it's "supposed" to look immediately after the procedure. If I could post pictures on here, I would. The procedure is supposed to lift the skin on the face. Mine skin was "puckered" and folding over on my cheeks. Dr. Werschler tried to assure me that this was what it's supposed to look like. I cost me $2,850 and I've asked for my month back, but, to no avail. The day after the procedure, I was freaking out about how my face looked. Most medical offices and/or medical spas call you the following day to check to see how you're doing and to see if there are any problems or concerns. No one called. I phoned his office, left a message but got no return call. The next day, 2 days after the procedure, I called 3 times before the office manager finally called me back. They have the absolute worst customer service! To date, 3 months post-procedure, I have visible threads, indentations and bumps where the threads are showing on the sides of my face but Dr. Werschler tells me it's fine! The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a medical office. For reference; I've been in the medical field for 10+ years so I'm not ignorant in how things are supposed to work. I'm typically a very understanding and patient person because of this so for me to get to a point of placing a review...yikes. Long story short: communication with this office is a joke. Their MA line says a 24hr response which is a lie. I had to call multiple times and leave multiple messages over the course of 2 weeks to get one phone call back. It's been 3.5 weeks since my initial visit (a few days out from what's supposed to be my 1 month follow up appointment) and I have yet to receive my medication from my first visit. Nobody will return my calls. My insurance says no PA's were filed for me, even though the office claims to have faxed them. My script ended up expiring at the pharmacy and I tried calling the office to get it resubmitted and I was sent to a voicemail to which *shocker* nobody called me back. I ended up cutting my losses and scheduling a new consult visit with an entirely different Dermatology Clinic that was able to see me, get my labs done and reviewed, and my medication sent in to my pharmacy within TWO DAYS. I have no idea what this office is doing and I don't think they know what they're doing either. To say I'm upset and frustrated with my experience is an understatement. Choose literally any other office. I can guarantee they'll be much more competent. read more

I chose this clinic based on the great reviews on Google. When I called to schedule an appointment, the only available doctor was Dr. Oldenkamp. I visited her twice, and unfortunately, I now understand why she had an available appointment. During both visits, Dr. Oldenkamp spent a maximum of three minutes in the exam room with me and did not provide any education on her diagnosis. On my second visit, I explained that the medication she prescribed did not make any difference in the appearance of my skin. She offered a cream as an alternative, but it didn't help. Overall, my time and money were wasted. As a result, I decided to go to a different clinic and had none of these issues. I'm satisfied with the care I received there and won't be returning to this clinic for another visit. If you think of using this clinic, wait for an appointment with a different provider. read more

I had a consultation with Dr Wray in November after a 2 month wait. The consultation went well, and a treatment date of 1/5/24 at 1000 was selected, with a 1/15/24 follow up. I showed up early on 1/5/24 and was told by the very same girl at the front desk who had scheduled the appointment I wwas there for that I not only had no appointment, but that Dr Wray wasn't even in the office that day. I had a simple question about meds, but was not allowed to talk to the PA because she was too busy. The girl at the desk offered no apology, explanation or other reason, other than I wasn't scheduled. I asked how I could have a follow up appointment ten days later if I'd never had treatment, and she was flummoxed. She finally gave me a cancellation appointment, like it was a second thought, and I took it and left. Then I realized I had the actual, physical appt card in my wallet and charged right up to show the girl the card she herself had written and handed to me for that day's appt. She was unimpressed. Given her rudeness, dismissiveness, unwillingness to help or take responsibility, plus the absence of the doctor and the inaccessibility of the PA, I told her to cancell all future appts. "Oooo-kay," was the only thing she said. I'm gone for good from any clinic that shows such utter disregard for it's patients. read more

Julie has been amazing to work with and she wants to dive into the root cause of my scalp issues rather than temporary solutions like other dermatologists have done in the past. I am so sorry to say that I will be going to a different dermatology office because of the lack of interest in the patient's well being. That being said, I will explain. I have no problem with the drs. I have seen because they have been fantastic! My problem is with the lack of interest in the patient by sitting on biopsy results more than once for 4 days and then 6 days from a second visit. This is very careless on their part full well knowing how anxious the patient (who has a history of skin cancer) and family are while waiting for results. I've made numerous calls trying to find out if the results were back and never once got the correct answer. I called the lab to see if they had been sent to the dermatologist office telling me they should have it. They did! Everyone is friendly, the place is clean, but forget about concern for the patient's peace of mind. I feel disgusted and I sure hope someone does something to change the way they respond to a patient's needs. Not professional at all. read more

A long term client, I've waited years for this office to reach its potential! Dr Werschler is great, he has the best staff! Julie Taylor is AMAZING. She will treat you like you are her dear friend or relative. She really cares about you and will see you through any issue you have with your skin. The new office and spa are like a mini vacation! I felt a little like Marie Antoinette in her good years while getting a facial! What a special place. I live in Seattle now and have not found anywhere that compares with this office. I'd rather drive across the pass and get treated here than drive into downtown Seattle, fight parking, deal with the congestion, and still not find an office like this one to pamper me. Spa Nordstrom is the closest I've found to oasis in Seattle for spa treatments-and even it doesn't compare with this place. Now THATS saying something! read more

I went to this place to see a dermatologist his name is Richard S Herdener. I got melasma, I am tan skin color. In my first visit I did not see him how I expected. I saw a estethician who work for him. She recommended 10 treatments of spectra laser who left me 3 times worse and got some laser burn and more brown spots. I sent him a email after my fourth treatment with after and before picture. He never answer so I keep going with the treatments. One day I got upset and ask for him to see me and he did and told me to visit his patner Doctor Chesnut who is well known. I paid $75 to see him to get his opinion and he told me to wait one month untill next treatment and use hidroquinone with tretinoic. That did not help with laser burn or dark spots. I decided to stop after 7 treatments which are really expensive. I can believe that he never supervised the estethician job or my face. Did not offer any peelings for the damage either. They did refund $700 for the 3 treatments left. I got the email in my folder that I sent to him, I even called the front desk asking if he got it and they said yes we forward that to him. This was done in January 2018. My face is worse melasma every where. People said that he should know that laser is not for tan skin. Make sure that you are treat by a dermatologist or ask friends for a good one because I did not asked around. I am satisfied with the doctors I saw, they both knew their business quite well. Dan Rhoads and Dr. Wershler both examined my head, Dan took a biopsy, confirming a basal cell carcinoma. He had Dr. Wershler examine it and as the MOHS surgeon he thought my case would be better solved with radiation. I had no issue with that. They told me we would wait for results to return and set up for the radiation treatments. This is where things went askew. I got a call after two weeks to confirm the diagnosis, and thinking next call would be to set up treatment. Instead another week goes by and I again get a call to confirm my diagnosis...only. Calling back, they are trying to set me up with MOHS surgery. Getting that issue straight with the office help, and letting them know Dr. Wershler suggested radiation would be better, they said they would get back to me. Waited several days, no contact. Called back and left a message and they called back after the weekend and said they referred me to Cancer Care Northwest. I waited to hear from their office, to make sure they actually made the referral. When I did not hear, called CCN to find out that yes, the referral paper is there, but no backup info like a phone number to actually call me with. Having read other reviews of this office, I recommend the doctors read them too. They could find out where their issues lie. read more

Very disorganized, they don't introduce themselves and never to know why you are there or what you had done the last time. Unlike every other office or clinic we deal with regularly. Lousy about returning phone calls even when they say they will. I think their services are good, but to have to wade through the frontline staff to get there isn't worth it. I went in for the removal of a skin tag and mole. I was seen by Dr. Gleason who was friendly and nice, but I felt that he did a poor job removing my mole when he elected to cauterize the wound instead of stitching it up as I know have a quarter size scar where the mole was that is still irritating to this day (2 months later). I have had the scar looked at by a doctor and physicians assistant since the operation and both responded that they would have stitched up the wound rather than cauterize it simply because I would have had a much smaller scar that would have healed much faster. I would not recommend this clinic to friends or family because I feel that Dr. Gleason was lazy in choosing to cauterize the wound he made when removing my mole rather than stitching it up and laziness has no place in the medical field. In fact, laziness kills people in the medical field. read more

What a wonderful place! They changed their locations and the building looks great! Reception is bad for AT&T but otherwise great. I had a simple procedure. They removed a mole for me. It was so fast! Plus the staff was super friendly, (the receptionist, tech, and doctor). It was also great that the doctor was from MI like me. Anyway, if you're there to remove a mole, it's great! LIFESAVORS! I had been wanted to get on accutane for 2 years now, my last dermatologist never listened to my opinions and would keep prescribing me topical ointments. Finally I made the best decision to transfer over to Dr. Julie Taylor! Immediately the assistant was so sweet and so comforting. When Julie came in she sat next to me and genuinely cared and got me started with accutane! She gave me a big hug after and made sure everything was taken care of. 100% reccomened :) read more

I've had multiple appointments at their clinic and every time something goes wrong. Most of the time it has been due to incompetence with the nursing staff. I'm a very understanding person, but every time a mistake has been made they are very rude to me and aren't helpful. I've had three different prescriptions and I always ask them to pre-authorize it with my insurance. All three times I have gone to the pharmacy and they have told me my insurance doesn't cover those specific prescriptions. When I called their office to ask them about the problem, they respond with "that's not our fault" and are very curt and unhelpful. They also are very unreliable with returning phone calls. I gave two stars because the doctors seem to be knowledgeable at least. I would not recommend this dermatology office. read more

Came here to get a planters wart taken off my foot and I was not given all of the options. I had to come back as they didn't kill it and when asked if there was another type of treatment that was less expensive, they finally told me that there was a topical that I could have used for much less! $400 later of course, I asked for them to review it through the billing department and 6 weeks later they wouldn't even acknowledge my request. Horrible service, they care only about $$$$ and not their patients....WE WILL NEVER GO BACK and will refer all our friends and family to stay away. read more

I was diagnosed with a basal carcinoma and was told that the MOHS procedure would be the best route for removal. A week prior to my surgery, I called to ask for an approximate cost of the procedure. I was quoted $1600. When they "stitched me up" (as the doctor performing that portion of the surgery explained) he did not explain this required the movement of tissue. This "stitch up" COST MORE than the MOHS surgery. I would have just let the wound heal naturally rather than pay $3000 total. read more

would not recommend this place to anyone. I went there because I was having some kind of allergic reaction to something and was breaking out everywhere. Making an appointment was easy and they got me in right away. Once I arrived, thats when it went all down hill. I was called back into a room by a girl about my age. (early 20's) little did I know she was going to be my "nurse" and had 2 girls "shadowing" her. Right then I knew it would be awkward due to the fact I had to completely undress (rash was everywhere) infront of these girls that I could just feel like they were "judging" me. As the doctor came in, he took a look and decided that I was lying and that I was picking at them and the rash on my face was infact acne. Well in the morning prior to this appointment I didn't have to wear makeup because I didn't have blemishes, and now I looked like I had a chemical peel. So to review, the doctor didn't believe me, the girls made me feel uneasy and the best part, the doctor was making jokes about it. Anyways, he decided he needed to take a biopsy to determine what exactly this was. I have never had surgery before so I had no idea how to take care of this stitch, and they just sent me on my way with no instruction, even after I asked. They looked at me dumbfounded, that I didn't know how to care for a stitch. As days passed, the stitch became very itchy and what seem to me, was infected. Concerned, I called them countless times. I was put on hold twice, and the line went dead after 10 minutes of listening to the same song, then I was finally sent to the nurses voicemail. This is where it gets unbelievable... 8 days go by, and no return phone call. I called atleast 3 times a day. Finally I decided to go to my family doctor where he removed the stitch. 15 days go by, no feed back on my results, so I called my primary physician and they did the same thing to him, put him on hold multiple times and no return phone call. After 3 weeks of no results I received my bill for this "surgery". They expect me to pay them for a biopsy, with no results, no proper care and no return phone calls... no chance. Long story short, my doctor did a skin scraping (all that needed to be done, a biopsy was a "bit extreme" - doctors words) and ended up finding out what was wrong and put me on medicine which cleared up on 24 hours. Still have yet to hear what their results were, and now I am left with a 300$ bill and a scar in a very uncomfortable place that still doesn't look like its healing correctly. So save your wallet and your time and DO NOT GO HERE! : ) read more
