The dentist shared his plan to obtain the xrays that weren't possible with a fussy toddler. He updated us with all the work completed under sedation. A follow up appointment was already scheduled. The anesthesiogist went above and beyond to describe his plan for an amnesia event. No pain and no memory of being poked and prodded. Two of the three adults accompanying the toddler provide direct patient care. After the procedure, he described possible bruising from cardiac monitor pads, nasal cannula, and IV site. By proactively identifying and explaining comforted the third adult. What to expect for a toddler waking up from anesthesia in the next 12 hours helped set us up for success. The gaming room with vintage games (Pacman) were a hit with the adults. What caught my attention was a large number of plugs in the waiting room. Each of the plugs had covers protecting little ones from injury. After arriving home with our "dizzy" toddler, the office called to check in to make sure everything was going as expected. Highly recommend this location for pediatric sedation dentistry.
