They notified me of a potential job, I submitted my info and interest in the job, then they notified me that I landed the gig. Great....or so I thought. This gig was at a local children's hospital and they informed me that to do the job, I was required to get a background check and a bunch of vaccines(working around sick children is no joke). So, I ended up having 4 doctors appointments to fulfill the requirements for a job I hadn't even began yet. I paid out of pocket for every doctors visit, for blood work and vaccines. I spent hours on multiple days to get this done. After completing everything, I waited for Creative Circle to give me details about the gig. I waited and waited. I reached out to CC, asking for any info about the job, so that I could prepare and they kept stringing me along. Finally after weeks, I reached out to the actual client that I was supposed to be doing the job for and they told me the project had been scrapped and that they were super surprised that CC hadn't informed me of this. I reached out to CC about this, letting them know that I was out a ton of hours and some pretty serious money to meet the requirements that I was told I needed to do in order to do this job. They're response, "we can't control what the client does" and "we're not responsible for the money you had to spend or your time". This was a mega kluster F on CC's part and it took me a very long time to get over the stress and harm that they caused me over this debacle. I asked for compensation, they refused it, and said it was not their responsibility. This is not a reputable company. A reputable company would've done the right thing and taken care of their mess, but instead, they hung me out to dry. I would never recommend getting involved with Creative Circle to any serious freelancer or really anyone for that matter. Please steer clear.

They called me in for an interview where they got to know what kind of jobs I was interested in. They let me know that I was probably struggling so much in my search because I was applying to higher level jobs that I had thought were entry level. I would never have known that if they hadn't told me. They got to know my strengths as a candidate and when I asked if they thought they could find me something they said "we wouldn't take you on as a client if we didn't think we could find you something great." That really reassured me and made me feel more comfortable. They regularly sent me opportunities via email and if it was a really relevant opportunity to my skill set they would call and leave a short but informative voicemail with a follow-up email. Within just a few months they got me an interview at an amazing company that I couldn't be happier working for. Once I was officially going through the hiring process they were extremely helpful and responsive, not to mention completely over-the-moon that they were able to help me find a great opportunity! I never would have found this job without Creative Circle's connections. They're awesome and I highly recommend them!
