Extremely nice people. They provided me a ride home which I didn't want. They kept my vehicle most of the day to do work I really didn't want. My preference would have been to wait on it. It wasn't any better than the dealership. They didn't even get all the work done they recommended. They wanted to do it the next day when I went in to get a part put on that they had to order. I have never in 77 years been to a repair shop that actually has an owner that test drives the vehicle after the mechanic finishes up and test drives the vehicle. Since my car was going to be there all day they offered me a ride, I chose a Whataburger nearby. I was surprised when the driver turned out to be Tony Spraggins, the owner. Now that I have been there I can understand why they are scheduling a week ahead. I will be back! I recommend that you try this repair shop. read more

I have had multiple cars repaired at Spraggins Auto and that has lead to my dad getting his car fixed there multiple times, and my mom getting her car fixed there multiple times, too. I have been taking vehicles here long enough to know that if they suggest that I get it fixed, I should probably get it fixed. I can't say enough about Tony the owner, Tony the manager, and all of the technicians in the back. What made me realize that I needed to write this review is that I took my car in last week and when I got it back I realized I had left a $10 bill in my center console for everyone to see. I had forgotten I even left it there, but it was still there when I picked my car up. If someone had grabbed it I would have been none the wiser, but these are honest people. Honest and thorough shop! My vehicle provided a unique challenge and ultimately could not be "fixed." Tim took the time to explain what he had done and potential solutions. He gave me the information and allowed me to make the decision. I was impressed with his honesty and his desire to fully solve the problem. Tim made an enormous effort to find the solution. While the difficulty with my vehicle's "fix" had nothing to do with his work, he discounted his labor and charged only his cost for the parts. I have never worked with a mechanic who was as honest and put as much effort into making sure I was happy with the results of his work. Had a problem with my F150. Searched for a good auto repair shop. Spraggins Auto Repair had great reviews. I took my truck to get checked out. They identified the problem and gave me an estimate for the job. They also did a free courtesy check of the truck. They found a few other issues that need to be addressed. Tony (the shop owner) explained all of my needed repairs and gave me some options on what needed to be done and what could "wait" or what I could do myself. The immediate repair was fairly expensive and I was going out of town, they let me keep the truck in their lot for my trip. I actually picked up the truck after hours after my trip and used it for a week. I dropped off the truck again after hours for the repair. The next day they let me know that a few parts were being shipped to the shop the next morning and the repairs would start when they arrived. The repair was rather extensive in that the intake manifold had to be removed and reinstalled. Long story short, Best repair from a garage that I can remember. They actually we're able to do the repair in one day and I'm back on the road. Not all repair jobs are the same, but the positive, professional and attentive way I was treated was well, "a breath of fresh air".
