Instead, the driver stopped with the car at a local auto parts place, helped to check the battery and install a new one. Unfortunately a new battery didn't solve the problem, so he helped get the car started so we could drive it home and helped us avoid an expensive tow and possibly car rental. He went far above and beyond his job and saved the day for us.
