There is plenty of storage in the entire apartment. 2. The office staff have remained very accommodating, polite and professional. 3. The maintenance team has always addressed all of my needs in a timely professional manner and always answered all my questions. 4. The outside areas are well maintained, cleaning and visually appealing. 5. It is a very quiet community. 6. The location to all kinds of stores is great when you need retail therapy starting from foods to clothes and in-between.

We were transparent with the property manager and with Concord that we had moved to Florida in mid-October and were staying with family, that my husband just began a new job, that I was a stay-at-home-parent to an autistic child, we rented our last place for over 12 years, and that we had enough savings to cover over a year worth of rent if something were to happen. We wanted to live there because of the school district and were ready to move in the next day. We are staying with family, but it's not a great situation, and needed to be out asap. The person overseeing our application was either incompetent or lazy or both. They ask the same questions repeatedly, even after I typed up a letter with detailed answers explaining our situation. They made us wait 1.5 months to submit current paystubs, even after a verification of employment form signed by my husband's manager was submitted (this was after his offer of employment letter was submitted). Last week , the property manager called my husband asking is we still wanted the apartment and how our application process was going. We told her yes, we were still waiting on *her company* to approve us and we had to submit one more paystub. She told him that the apartment was still being held. In the meanwhile, we continued to receive emails saying that Concord needed another paystub that did not yet exist, complete with an incorrect schedule of his pay dates. (We provided them with the correct one before and after this email.) Throughout this all, I called Concord and tried to talk to an actual human to explain the situation, since emailing didn't seem to work. I was told by the customer service rep to email the Disputes team and they had a pretty fast turn around. I emailed on February 9, then followed up February 12. I also called back on the 12th, and the customer service rep told me that I was not able to speak to anyone, however she would personally talk to the case manager and call me back. I still have not received a follow-up email or a phone call from anyone. On Friday, March 13, I called again to check on our status, as the final paystub was submitted that Thursday. I was told that an email was sent to the property manager and district manager to see if there were any properties available. Which left me confused, because we paid that holding fee. Plus, the property manager had just checked in on us. Well, yesterday we found out that no apartments are available for us, the next one would be the middle of May. It was explained at that time that the "holding fee" was so we were on the waiting list for an apartment. Even though the language consistently used was that the apartment was being held for us. Again, this definition change was 1.5 months after the initial application was submitted and the holding fee paid. So, this leaves my family houseless, frustrated, and having to start the process all over again and rush to find a place to live.

The whole team at the Breakers Apartments are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are so quick to respond and were so helpful during the application process and move-in. If you ever need help with anything they are there and will solve issues so quickly. Mellisa is the absolute sweetest person and gets you set up with everything. The apartments are so clean and beautiful. Sure, this place isn't new but it is well kept. There are always people cleaning, maintaining the property, and making this place look so beautiful. I love my apartment and they provide pest control and maintenance is there for any needs you may have. When I moved in I was expecting it to be a little less than perfect since it's a cheaper price point but I'm telling you everything was cleaned to perfection. Again, this place isn't new but they do their very best to provide every tenant with the best. They carpet cleaned and repainted everything. The air conditioning unit is like new and there are new ceiling fans in the rooms. If you have a one bedroom you may have a huge screened in porch. I just love everything about it. The complex is next to literally EVERYTHING but it's so quiet, safe, and peaceful. Everyone in the complex is quiet and kind. The pool gorgeous and so well maintained. It's always clean and gorgeous! The laundry facilities are so nice on the inside and very clean and convenient. The trash area is right next to every apartment because it's a smaller facility. Amenities that I myself never bother to use and yet I'm charged for them regardless. It's very simple living here, perfect for one to two people, maintenance is attentive (which is rare these days), and the property manager Alicia is very sweet. Price-wise I'm very happy and it correlates nicely to the surrounding area. The absence of a dishwasher and an in unit washer/dryer is one of my few complaints for my unit, the flooring is prone to peeling from light damage, and the only coax panel is in the living room. The complex is close to the road so you will hear slight road noise at night but it's minimal at best. There's onsite laundry and a mailbox which pairs nicely with the complex. The few neighbors I've met were in good spirits and the surrounding neighborhood is safe. There's also a Circle K right behind the complex so basic necessities are available. The complex is in close proximity to nearly everything which is a huge bonus for shopping. All in all, I love it here and am glad to have found this place. Come see for yourself!

Some are very nicely decorated. Others are still sporting furniture from 1994. Either way, staff is very thoughtful and caring. Everything is always clean or being cleaned. The pools are excellent and perfectly cared for. The location is prime, with every condo having a nice view of the ocean. If you rent on the bottom floor, you get to enjoy the bouncy, well-manicures grass that surrounds the building. There are tennis courts and shuffleboards. Lots to do nearby. We stay here for 7-10 days each year and we never get tired of Errol by the Sea.

Laurel Court Apartments is about 2 miles from DeLand's downtown area and it's surroundings have beautiful landscaping. Apartments are usually one bedroom and the community accepts only people from ages 60+. Rent apparently goes along with some sort of sliding scale and eating list is currently at a one year wait. That should tell you something about the place. Good, right? Only downside is that it's almost impossible to contact them by phone and management does not work on weekends, making it a bit hard for me to be able to take my mom to their facilities over the week. But other than that, my mother was able to talk to severa, residents and they all seemed pretty content.
