What happened to the Spring Market we all knew and loved here in Bughes Springs. The new supervisor is RUDE to customers, RUDE to her employees and it is no longer a happy environment like it used to be. Ever since the new supervisor got there ( The current one) that has all gone downhill. Much praise for Misty Howard, though. She's been there for years. Very hard worker and everyone in Hughes Springs knows and loves her. But that new supervisor....SHE NEEDS TO GO before they lose ALOT of regulars. They already have. I won't go back until shes gone and she's still there. read more

I came up to the spring market grocery located in Lone Star Tx on Thursday July 30th 2020. I seen a…read moreman who looked as though he worked there. I waved him over and told him that I temporarily couldn't walk and would he do me a favor. He said so I asked him to go buy like a dozen or more jello cup containers. I gave him my card and in he went. He came out with a whole sack of jello cups. I offered to buy him a drink but he said no. I thanked him and went on my way. His name is Jeff! He went out of his way to help someone in distress. Please give Jeff a raise. I will continue to shop here because of the friendly atmosphere thats prevalent here!!

Every time we visit we are asked if we need any assistance, help out and loading, finding products, etc. There are other stores within an hours driving distance but we go to Brookshire's unless we need things they don't carry. This is a pretty good mid-price gas station close to the 59 Eastex Highway where a lot of cops usually hang out - which I'm not really sure if that is a good thing or not but you can draw your own conclusions. Literally, here's a pencil and a sketch pad. Draw already. Prices are usually somewhere in the middle (like Jimmy Eat World, but not like Maren Morris ew, ok fine around here it's very like Maren Morris ew) and they have restrooms, are open 24 hours, all kinds of stuff inside, some of which is unusual and fun, along with all the usual convenience store immunities. I mean amenities. If you want immunity from prosecution though - maybe speak to the cops that are perennially in here.
