What a horrible experience. First, every time you walk in, the owner acts like he's annoyed that you're there because he's trying to watch tv, and treats you as if you're an idiot. I needed a 20 inch tube for my roomate's bike. I picked one up, but when I got home, my roommate told me it was the wrong size. The diameter was 2.25 and he needed 3 for his fat tires. He called him, and said "I just bought a tube but I need a 3 inch diameter, do you have those in stock?". The owner said "No, it will expand." Obviously we were skeptical. He said "Try it, if it blows out I'll give you your money back". So we blew it up, and went for a ride. The tire went flat. We blew it up again, it went flat. We had to walk home. I went back into the store, and the owner tried EVERYTHING to make this dumb event my fault. "There must be something in your tire" he said first. No, I'm not having that, you said it would expand and tubes don't do that. That's why they have sizes. "Well you blew it up too much" he said. YOU SAID IT WOULD EXPAND, THAT'S WHY WE CALLED YOU. WE HAVE TO BLOW IT UP MORE THAN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. Now I'm yelling and getting really angry. "Well it didn't blow out, it's leaking air because of (insert another excuse here)" he says. OMG, the tire doesn't work because you're an idiot, why does it matter whether it blew out or not. IT DOESN'T WORK FOR THIS BIKE LIKE WE TOLD YOU ON THE PHONE. seriously? getting angrier. Then, he has the audacity to say "So you blew it up and then what?". I said "We went for a ride. It went flat". He literally says to me "Well, you shouldn't have ridden on it". "What?" I said "You said to try it." He says "Yeah I said try it, not ride on it". At this point of utter ridiculousness, I am done. I didn't buy an inner tube to look at and I didn't do anything wrong. He has a lot of products that I was going to buy but now I will never step foot in there again. He's not even nice or helpful when you're buying something. If you ask a question he says "I dunno, try it". What's the point? He obviously doesn't want anyone to shop there. If other people have great experiences there, I would say it must be a discrimination thing because I NEVER have in the 5 or so times I've been. read more
