We found it because it was the place that opened up the earliest for dinner (9:30pm), and what a gem we found! We ordered the menu that was inclusive of appetizers, salted steak, desserts, and wine. My mouth waters thinking about the food here 13 years later! The atmosphere was amazing. It looks like nothing from the outside, as it's in an industrial area, but inside you are transported to old world Spain (in my mind). It is a DO NOT miss place.

But the croquettas were so so and the albóndigas, which are mostly served in a tasteful tomato sauce, were dry and served in this brown stew like sauce (without any taste). She proudly described their paella dish as both delicious and award winning, so I ordered that. A few minutes later she brought out a plate of yellow-gray rice with a tiny piece of chicken on top. Parts of the rice were completely burned, and I couldn't see any vegetables; to make matters worse, the dish was almost completely tasteless! I don't know which was worse - how terrible the paella was, or the fact that the waitress actually recommended it! Regardless, I will not be returning.
