Moreno's Roofings' quote was significantly lower than the other quote I got. Moreno's installs a complete roof system , ice & water shield, felt paper underlayment & starter strip shingles around perimeter off the roof. They use Certainteed-Landmark shingles with a 50 year warranty. The crew arrived on March 24, 2025 and removed the old shingles from the roof and installed the ice & water shield and felt paper and staged the shingles on top of the roof. They brought along a dumpster and discarded old shingles and other materials into it as they worked. The next day they nailed the new shingles into place and finished up the job. They cleaned all debris from my yard and also rolled the yard with a magnet to pick up all the nails. My experience with Moreno's roofing was very positive, the crew doing the work were friendly, professional & very thorough. I am extremely pleased with the results, the roof looks great. We learned of this after they completely skinned the wall. We asked them to rough in a ceiling light when they had the drywall off one side prior to re-drywalling, and no we are unable to find where they roughed it to. Now I need to hire an electrician to fix the mess and a drywall contractor to fix the wall again. When they re dry walled, there's no way they put any barrier to stop the dust and debris from reaching other parts of the house. My entire home, basement to 2nd floor, was nothing but a mess and a cloud of dust. It was a horrible experience and I could never, in good faith, recommend this contractor. Jeff and staff had no empathy nor did they care one bit about my home and the mess. I'm sick that this continues to be an issue, and now that I'm in the process of selling my home, it's even more of an issue for the new buyer.
