Of course we had great food and fun drinks. Chrissie takes the tour over and above. Suggesting here is a good restroom stop. This is a great place to grab a Drink in the DORA. She kept the pace relaxed but kept us on track. Overall a fun tour with interesting stops getting to know many of the fine dining restaurateurs and story of how and why they decided to open in Dayton. If you want a fun afternoon I highly recommend joining Chrissie for a tour. Chrissie really needs to plan a second tour I would buy tickets in a heart beat!

With…read moreonly 12 spots per tour, it's an intimate gathering in which people got to know each other a little. Chrissie did a wonderful job including everyone and making each of us feel welcome. The tour included 6 food/drink stops and a few bonus stops of interest along the way. It lasted about 3.5 hours and we walked around 2 miles total. Each of the restaurants told us a little about their establishment and then shared a delicious sampling of what they have to offer. Chrissie was a fantastic guide with a wealth of information about Dayton history as we walked. She kept us moving to keep on schedule but it never felt rushed. JAM started as just a summer venture, but hopefully they will decide to add dates this fall. We will definitely recommend them to friends.

I should mention she is 80 years old and this chance will not come up again. Ron picked her up and then proceeded to begin taking her to the WRONG airport. ****EDIT*** My mom did indicate that there had been traffic, but that they could have made it to the airport in time if they had not originally gone the wrong way. ***END EDIT***As a result, my mom not only missed her flight, but it was the ONLY flight that made it that day and there were no other flights for her to take that worked for our schedule - not even the following day. So because Ron didn't do the most basic part of his job - verifying the destination - my mom's once in a lifetime vacation which would have had irreplaceable memories was null and void. Not to mention I'm out $1200 for the Airbnb which was refundable up to the day BEFORE. I expect my payment, if for no other reason than the fact there needs to be consequences for his negligence. It's the absolute least Ron could do since there is no possible way to make up for what would have been priceless time with my mom. ***EDIT*** Of course there are always possibilities of traffic or plane delays, etc., and if that had been the issue in this matter, so be it. However, it is the driver's job to make sure he knows the destination from the beginning, and this did not happen. He's not even apologetic in his response and takes ZERO accountability. My mother is 80 and doesn't do social media. So I will take up for her. ***END EDIT*** Do not book with him unless it doesn't matter if you reach your destination.

I called extremely early in the morning but where I'm from if a business is open (especially a cab company) then they are ready for business. The guy that answered the phone was extremely annoyed I had called, didn't understand what a time call (or scheduled call) was and proceeded to ask me questions that were irrelevant like what time my flight was, like the time I was requesting was unreasonable or something. This company apparently doesn't need the business so don't bother calling.

I give 5 stars to Mike of Hands of Agape Airport Transportation because he kept me informed of when…read morehe would be at my home for an early morning pickup to go to the airport. He was very nice and we had good conversation for our ride. I also booked him for pickup at the airport on my return flight which had a delayed arrival time by 45 minutes . Mike kept a watch on my flight and he knew about the delay,this is a service that using an Uber or Lyft does not provide to my knowledge. His van was clean and roomy as well and he drove safely. I highly recommend using Mike for reliable transportation and I even added his company and name into my contacts for any future airport transportation use I may have .

Some kind of beetle/rolly poley looking thing? Breakfast was nice though! I don't eat carbs and that's basically all that's served at hotels. So I really appreciated the scrambled eggs and sausage patties AND hard boiled eggs. Lots of coffee so I was able to fill my container before I left on my trip too. They offer military discount so ASK FOR IT! They accepted my dog and cat for a fee. I stayed in a handicapped room which was on the bottom floor which was nice, but the bathroom was one giant shower which was weird-but understandable considering what room I was in. I don't know, I just felt so gross and dirty staying here. 100% would not recommend. Unless you're a guy and you don't care about any of that stuff. But females! Let it be known, this place is pretty gross.

I will give the positives first... the beds are very comfortable, the room was fairly clean there's a few things but not much to even mention. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The door has no interior latch and the locking and handle mechanism has seen some damage. But here we go really really really bad stuff... Dog crap everywhere! And I mean everywhere. Most people will put their dogs on leashes and take them to the pet area and pick up after them. It's evident that the clientele that they attract at this hotel does not respect this. And when I say everywhere I mean right out your door and all up and down the grassy area by sidewalk. You can't even step somewhere without stepping in it. In the morning there were dogs out unleashed. Not something I would subject my pet to argue for fear there would be a scuffle etc. unfortunately we won't be back. Hoping no flea guest tag along back home. But I kind of doubt it.
