My sweetheart and I wandered through on our way to the Bibliothèque centrale du muséum national d'histoire naturelle to see if we could get a wee peek at the Cabinet of Curiosities of Bonnier de la Mosson.* Sadly, we were not able to get into the library - my non-existent French during our discussion with the garde de sécurité leads me to believe that I either A) had to come on a Mardi rather than a Lundi when it was open to the public or B) pre-request admission with a research statement of intent Sadly, I was leaving on Mardi. Green house in Paris. There are not a lot of green houses in Paris. We came to check this place out…read morealong with the other museums in the area. It does require admission to enter the green house but the price paid includes admission to the botanical gallery as well. There are two parts to the green house. Note to make sure you see everything in the main green house before going to the second part. Once you enter the second part, you can only enter the first part of the green house through the entrance (that requires some walking back). I don't think this is one of the tourist attraction spots. Most of the visitors here are locals or students.
