The membership fees tend to be a bit higher than most gyms and look to attract a certain clientel. This one is attached to the Madison Hotel, yet it is not a part of the hotel, which I like. I live right around the corner so the location is optimal for me. Being a typical gym rat, I like the weights. I am not into wellness, aerobics or any of that. I want weights and I like to work out hard. I do use the wellness area at times which is a nice bonus but is not the main reason I am here. For the majority of the people though, this will be the main attraction as everything is clean, well organized and pleasant to the eye. The members are all pretty civil as well. You don't have the typical bodybuilder types in tight shorts and tank-tops. It's mostly a gym frequented by business types. They have everything you could need though so the offering is not lacking at all. My only complaint and hence the reason for only 4 stars is that the weights don't go high enough. This is of course more my problem as the weights should be sufficient for 99% percent of the people using the gym but I need dumbbells higher than 40 kilos. I of course understand though why a gym wouldn't need to have these and I can get around this problem using the barbells or machines. Further, the raisied the membership fee by 10 Euros a month after I joined so it's now even more expensive than when I started.

Thier are lots of sun lounges and a large outdoor grassed area for sunbathing. It's vesy well maintained establishment including very goog and clean changing rooms. Thier are also a few food bars and watering holes to choice form also the prices are very reasonable, so no need to haul arround packed lunches for all the family. The family day cards are very well priced, i think we only payed 11 Euro's for the day. Parking thier in high season is a bit arwquad due the the populaty of this place, they have a very large overfill carpark which is a 5 mins walk away.

It was my first time here and I was really surprised. They have many pools. Some for swimming,…read morediving (diving board), many slides, a jacuzzi and a hot salted water outside pool. I liked their locker system with RF cards and bracelet-keys. After payment at the reception, a plastic card with an RF chip was given to me. After I left the changing-room, I checked for the number of my locker on one of the several card readers on the walls. By placing the card near the display, it showed me which locker I could use. Very user friendly! After I found out my locker and stored my belongings in, I placed my RF card in a special slot inside the locker. After closing the door I removed the bracelet that was attached to the outside. After strapping it to my wrist I could perfectly see my locker number. To open, it's just a matter of reversing. After I had a shower, I placed the bracelet on the special attachment on the door, and voilá! The locker opened!!! Personally, I enjoyed my time there. One of slides did give me a fright thought. A piece of advice: hold your breath and brace yourselves. Five stars for the spotless facilities. Everywhere was clean and in good condition. I think they have fair prices for adults but not for children. If you have a lot of kids pack your wallet.
