    Hog Burger

The food, service and atmosphere is lively and fun. I had the steamed mussels in a garlic sauce which was delicious to dip the bread in. I also had the Hog Burger and it was great. Burger, bacon, blue cheese and chipotle onions. Eat it all! I highly recommend and would be back.

Great place for lunch or dinner. They have a good variety of beer on tap or bottled and canned. I enjoy the Devil's Purse kolsch, and my husband likes the Chimay red. The food menu is just what you are looking for in a gastropub. But we usually order the Cape Cod fish fry, with fried fish, scallops and shrimp. These are perfectly cooked, with a crisp coating. Service is good, always prompt and checking in on us. Stop by here for a good pub experience.

Glad we decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The French fries are double cooked and the crispy salty flavor was perfection. The three fish tacos had a spicy sauce and were cooked just right. We ate outside on the deck which they closed after we left. I imagine it gets quite busy in the summer, but we were alone up there on this April afternoon.

Small little bar/restaurant but in P-town, what isn't small? Had the smoked chowder and it was the best I've had in Cape Cod! We had the two toasties for our meal and they were pretty good too, but it would be the chowder that would bring me back!

A favorite place in town for a casual bite, without reservations fuss. Great cocktails and prices, surprisingly elevated food choices, beyond burgers. Service always attentive and friendly. Delicious rum punch. Also often has vegan and GF options.

Fried chicken BBQ ranch sandwich with sweet potato fries

The squealing pig was a random lunch stop for us and didn't disappoint! Wife and I both got the fried chicken, BBQ ranch sandwich. Came with slaw and pickles. I also added onion. Slaw was relatively tasteless. Chicken was nicely fried. It had a decent flavor overall but wasn't anything super special. We did upgrade ($4!) For sweet potato fries - they were delicious! Not sure what sort of hummus stuff came with them but it was also tasty! A decent little lunch spot!

With plenty of restaurants to choose from, the Squealing Pig stuck out due to its high number of reviews. And thankfully, it did not disappoint! We came during off season so there wasn't a crowd, but it looked like there were plenty of regulars here on a Thursday evening. Our group of 4 was seated and greeted immediately. I ordered the clam chowder and mussels, both extremely flavorful and generous portions. The clam chowder was creamy with a slight bacon flavor. The mussels were tasty and had a nice chew. Service and ambiance were great!

I came on lunch time on the weekday, so immediately I got a Seat. Sat by the bar, asked the bartender what's the recommendation for food. He simply said the back of the house are Nepalese. I immediately choose Nepalese curry (chicken) and spicy beef kebab (medium rare). It's well seasoned and has great flavor. The curry is not spicy, mild and came with papadom (Indian crackker).nice touch on garden salad that come with pumpkin salad. They have decent selection on tap beer but I decided to get Guiness 0 non alcoholic from a can. They also have a nice mezcal called Los sieste mysterious. Had with rocks, less smokey but great flavour

Delicious food!! Had the captains plate everything fresh. Fish tacos were delicious as well. Curry chicken tasted exactly like I was still in Ireland!

    Lobster roll

We wandered into The Squealing Pig and were happy to see a mix of tourists (like us) and local fishermen dining. We got a bacon topped lobster roll with hand cut, twice fried fries and steamed mussels in white wine, butter and garlic. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and got great service at the bar, too. FYI, they serve a very delicious spicy Bloody Mary.

Great selection of beers, friendly service. The special daily ceviche was scallop, which was a nice portion with chips. Cute joint!

The food is consistent and "middle of the road" meaning not fancy and not dive diner. A nice limited traditional menu with choices that aren't overwhelming. We got over easy on tots and an order of avocado toast with egg, that they let me customize a smidgen. Along with that one of us got coffee and there were 3 boozy beverages. Mine was the Bloody Mary. Another solid hit. Ptown usually kills it with the bloody Mary's! Thank gawd. Bill without tip was about $75. Which I consider very fair for 2 with drinks. The brunch show costs extra and you should order way ahead, it books up. I've been coming to the PO cafe since I was a wee butch and it never disappoints. Thank you PO for being a constant! Cheers!!
