I have not had Squeeze in years! mostly because I completely forgot about them as an option. I just remember that yummy cheese skirt they do so I ordered the Squeeze burger with cheese, small fries and small soda that came to $14. Felt like I waited a little while but they brought it to my table. That cheese skirt is Da'bomb. It is thick and just pure real cheese. I actually like to pluck it off and it eat it by itself. A 1/3lb burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard, and mayo all on a sesame seed bun! The most incredible part of this burger however is the cheese-- so much cheese that your burger comes complete with a cheese skirt! We like to tuck the extra, crunchy, delicious cheese up under our bun and get they delicious, extra crunch in every bite. Credit for being the first cheese skirt I've had, but... the menu and location is now outdated. I do still like their hand-crafted milkshakes, but usually wait for their Pumpkin flavored one in October. We recently ordered an original Squeeze burger, garlic fries, a little squeeze and a taco. Couldn't go wrong with the original squeeze, but the little squeeze's bun was stale. Maybe cause they don't get that order as often and inventory was low, but it was not the best. The Inside was delicious at least. The fries were a little cold and questionable as well, but couldn't waste the food. The taco's pico de Gallo was on point though this time around! Location is bigger than the original location with lots of seating / great for groups. But, the color schemes and decor is not catchy anymore. Tables are orange and brownish, older and mostly sticky. Customer Service is typically friendly and welcoming, but on an empty day, it can get a little awkward. Could hear the cooks and cashiers complaining about how they want to end their shift already. All in all, the food and food concept is great. I will come here and will always support family/franchise businesses. They even got the order correct (which says a lot about the staff - very organized and professional), plus it was prepared quickly, freshly and made after i ordered- the burger was not pre-cooked on the flat top. Tripple D plus Groupon equals a solid dining experience for half the price. Win win! My wife and Mother-in-law went to the Squeeze Inn for the first time on a Thursday for lunch. As mentioned, my Mother-in-law procured a Groupon with $25 worth of food for half the price. She mentioned to us that the Squeeze Inn in Downtown had been on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, which was all the more reason for us to pay the local establishment a visit. When we arrived at 1pm, there was a decent amount of parking in the lot, so we got a nice spot near the front. I imagine that had we come a little earlier there would have been a bigger crowd. When we went inside, there were a decent number of tables filled with people but there was no line to order, so we got to put ours in as soon as we walked in. Here's what we ended up with: Squeezeburger with avocado and bacon well done - Seeing as how this is the claim to fame for the restaurant, it is no surprise that it was our favorite item. A pretty sizable burger with all of the fixins, and a blanket of cheese extending out to the box it was served in. I folded the cheese up under the bun after trying a bit of the edge and it balanced really well with the various components. It was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Juicy, fresh, not overly cooked, nice ingredient balance, and a lot of flavor (and calories). Good times. Grilled cheese - My wife ordered this since she's a huge fan, but unfortunately it just lacked the "wow" factor that it should have had even with the cheese skirt. Chicken taco - I didn't personally get to try this, but my Mother-in-law said it was really good. Steak taco - Not a ton of beef compared to the mountain of cheese, but still well cooked, tasty, and filling. Good quality steak, too. Fries - They weren't amazing but they weren't soggy and terrible as some people had claimed. They were hot, well textured, and salted. Unfortunately, little sides of ranch dressing are 50 cents each, though. Not worth the cost where other restaurants provide it for free. Mint chip and chocolate shake - Both ladies had a shake with lunch and really enjoyed them. They said the texture started out very thick but became very drinkable after a minute. Lots of flavor and very creamy. Good times. The total without the Groupon came to a little over $30 with a soda added as well, so in general it's kind of a pricey lunch, but it's definitely tasty and fun to try at least once. Lord knows the calories will last me through winter. Summary: Squeezebuger is where it's at. As another reviewed noted, with avocado and bacon added you get a great experience. Fold the skirt under the bun for easier consumption. Tacos are good and very cheesy. Grilled cheese is alright. Fries are good but not amazing. Shakes are solid.
