The customer service here was good, but what really stood out were the owners, Ms. Dolores and Mr. Cliff the owners...I was tired, hungry, and a little frustrated, but Ms. Dolores greeted me with so much kindness and even helped me with the menu. I ordered the Original Soul Junior Burrito (heard about it on KJLH radio) and wow--pure flavor! Not dry, not salty, just seasoned perfectly. The burrito was huge, (I cannot eat the entire burrito so I saved it for the next day) the sauces were tasty, and the whole experience made my day. I have been hearing about this place on KJLH regularly and decided to go. Me and my daughter went. We got the Soul Man (baby) Burrito each and a order of the Asada Fries for my Granddaughter. We went back to her house to eat. We were Not pleased. You could not distinguish what type of meat was in the burritos. Onions over powered everything. Meat was unrecognizable like it had been in a food processor. Wasn't really feeling the Asada fries either. The tortilla was soggy as hell which made it mushy towards the end and they give the salsa on the side so idk why it was so soggy. The service was terrible too. I've been coming here for YEARS! Today, I went to get a soul food burrito and was disappointed in the food and service. First off, I ALWAYS get the beans on the side since my husband doesn't eat beans. I was told they couldn't. I argued with these people telling them I do it ALL the time. Some person by the name of Maria came out of the back asking if she could help me. I said I had already placed my order. She proceeded to tell me that since I wanted the beans on the side, I had to pay for the container. WHAT??!!! I have NEVER been asked to pay for a container. To top it off, the food was sub-par. Not at all what I've become accustomed to when eating at Cliffs! Shame on you for hiring people who don't know the first thing about customer service AND for allowing them to serve food that is bland and flavorless. If you want some great food that's going to fill you up, head over to Cliff's. The burritos are massive and loaded with meat, and the asada fries never disappoint! There's tons of parking and the staff has always been nice when I go. Be prepared to wait a little while during the lunch rush because the line can be a bit long at times and the kitchen is pretty small. The prices have changed over the years and are a little high, but I guess that's just the cost of ingredients these days. But for the size and quality of the meals, it's worth it! On my visit, I ordered a al pastor quesidella. It came with salad and salsa for just under $6. It was a very big in size and the meat was ok. I think it lacked a little in flavor, but it was still overall tasty. Cliff's has seating next to the order window. Next to that was the large dirt and gravel parking lot. Not sure if I want to sit outside with the possibility of having dirt blow into my food, but that's just me. So I ate mine in the comfort of my car in which I had a nice "itis" nap after.
