After three failed attempts at passing my LSS black belt, I finally found a provider who helped me understand why the exam was so hard for me. I took advantage of SSD Global's finish what you start program.. the first encouraging thing is that my projects that I had done work critique and I was given incredible feedback. Second thing that happened was that I was exposed to a A class with LSS Green Belts attending. I was encouraged to give them guidance and encourage encouragement. I highly recommend the Lean Six Sigma training program at SSD Global Solutions. After earning my Yellow Belt through Dr. Terra Vanzant Stern's IT Pro TV videos and my Green Belt at TVA, I completed both my Black and Master Black Belt certifications with SSD. I'd like to write about the class that just finished up last Friday. We did it LIVE on Zoom with Dr. Terra Vanzant Stern and are now entering Phase II where we study for the test. Class was amazing and I learned a lot. One of the programs is allowing me to count work I did prior to enrolling to count towards my LSS Black Belt certification. This certification will be achieved in the next six weeks. The class was fast-paced. They have three phases. Phase I is the workshop. Phase II you study and take the test. I took the on-line LIVE instruction where you can both hear and see the instructor. It was awesome. There were three parts to the workshop. Part One was 3 Days for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - then you do independent self paced stuff with a mentor. I learned so much the first day I just wanted to go home and play with my new toys. They give a lot of stuff away in the class and you don't have to get through the whole program to use the tools. Just got my ASM! I Got my LSS Yellow Belt through SSD Global and decided to try my luck at the Agile Scrum Master workshop. But since the test covers both the Agile Scrum Master and the Agile Project Manager I decide to take the APM. I had a lot of fun in class and met very nice people. Dr. Stern is a great instructor and encouraged us all to be "our own network" so I'm happy to have 12 new friends. I love the conversational style of the workshop. Just got my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I did the Finish What You Started program, and although it still took me 2 months to complete because I had to finish one of my projects and do a student mentoring assignment, it was so much better than starting over. I used a different provider before coming to the Finish What You Started program, and I had many false starts. I took my LSS Black Belt via SSD Global Solutions and have returned to take my Master Black Belt. The course work is excellent and there is a lot of interaction in the program. Although the classes are on Zoom they are interactive and very stimulating. This option, for me, was less expensive than ASQ and other alternatives plus I'll soon be a published author since that is one of the assignments in this program. read more

I have probably taken every class SSD Global has to offer: Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green, Black and more recently LSS Master Black Belt. I have to say my favorite so far has been the LAPM workshop: Lean and Agile Project Management. I took a class although they also do this particular workshop 1:1. As a PMP, the LAPM workshop was a great way to understand the different project management approaches. read more

Just received my Agile Scrum Master certificate from SSD Global Solutions. Last year I received my LSS Master Black Belt. This was a fast and fun course just like it was promised. The workshop was 2-days and then I was given the test prep, templates, a book and the opportunity to take the test online. This was something I have been meaning to do for some time. I just earned my LSS Green Belt and plan to go for my LSS Black Belt next. Through the Finish What You Started program, I earned credit for a Lean Six Sigma project I completed last year.
