Take the #1 tram line to Eggenberg, and walk East 1 block to the entrance. There is an entrance fee. To visit the palace, art galleries, or archaelogical museum costs extra, and tour is extra. There is no modern heating or cooling, and no modern lights in the palace. It is wheelchair accessible, and has modern bathrooms.

Our guide was very nice and had tons of additional information to provide us during the tour keeping each room very interesting and full of discoveries. The little park surrounding the castle is also nice for a stroll and to see the roses garden. This castle is easily accessible by tramway from the city center which makes it a great day trip activity.

Die Entstehungsgeschichte aller Klagenfurter Kinos, sowie Informationen über das frühe Schulkino gehört genauso zum Angebot des Kinomuseums, wie ein Blick auf die internationalen Filmproduktionen die in Klagenfurt und Umgebung gedreht wurden. Mit keinem anderen Medium ist der Charme der 1970er Jahre so authentisch eingefangen worden wie mit Super8. Dem Amateurfilm ist ein eigener Raum gewidmet, der die Geschichte des Schmalfilms zurückverfolgt bis zu den Anfängen in den 1920 Jahren.
