Great church just a few minute drive from Downtown Nashville. It's a beautiful church with plenty of parking.

A lovely, woodsy (though roomy / high ceiling'd) cabin type church. It's a bit of a challenge to find a spot that meets combat vet PTSD needs, but at least others have never been shitty when the homme and I have needed to move around more than usual. Very welcoming to visitors / vacationers, also. Even if you're in your camping / back-country clothes. Homilies are often well-prepared, intelligent, and well-delivered. Even when they aren't, which does happen, this appears to be (as a fairly regular parishioner since Darth Pope was removed) a fairly progressive parish, just FYI. What a beautiful church. My sister in law got married here and I can see why she chose it as her location. The walls of gorgeous high windows really make it such a pretty spot. It is nestled back in the woods. Very quiet as far as traffic goes. I'm not sure who the preist is that typically would lead mass here because we had our own priest do the ceremony but the other staff members of the church who helped with the wedding were on it. They did a great job of making sure everything went smoothly. Overall it's a very pretty church. read more
